We booked the "family room", these two rooms and the bathroom are in a hallway shared with another room so it was not totally private and may have been noisy for the other guests to share it with a family

View from room was spectacular, photos don’t do it justice. Location is super & Katarina was extremely welcoming & helpful. There are quite a few steps up to the room, but there is a lift to bring luggage up most of the way

Only tiny downside was no fan or Aircon so was a bit hot at night.

Host was incredibly nice. Location is perfect. Allowed us to leave luggage before and after stay (very kind). Room is very nice (room is maybe the best you will ever have from bed).

The shower where we were was very odd on the top floor, could do with a holder for it overhead but not a big problem.

It is called B&B. In England, that means bed and breakfast. There was not really any breakfast - some old cereals, but no milk, dry biscuits. This would not affect my rating. It was great.

Location was fantastic. Close to the main centre of the old city. The host was meeting out every request, including providing additional pillows. She was very friendly and helpful.

The booking says "private bathroom" which isn't strictly true, it is in a hallway where others have access and not attached directly to the room. Quite misleading and not convenient - I think you should update the description so guests are aware in advance. The lighting in the room was not adequate, we struggled to see in the evening getting ready to go out or just reading wasn't possible as it was too dim. There was also a late check in fee of 30 euro, I feel its quite unfair if your flight is delayed and its out of your control, and 30 euro is a lot of money for some of us! However Katerina did let us check out later the day we left as we had an evening flight so I suppose that did make up for it.

Excellent location, Katerina was very helpful and communicative, comfortable beds. She also let us check out late on the day we left as we had an evening flight, which was very convenient and we much appreciated.

It was a lovely room with adjunct bathroom, very clean and with tasteful decor. The location of the B&B was perfect, looking over the roofs of the medieval town of Bergamo. Lot's of tourist attractions, restaurants, and cafe's in close walking proximity. Katarina who showed us our room was very friendly and helpful!

The B&B was perfectly located for our visit to Bergamo, just a short walk from the main attractions of Cita Alta. Our host Katarina excelled in her hospitality and helping us find our way around the local area. Our room, a nicely converted roof space, was comfortable with great views and a smart en-suite. Although advertised as a B&B we were free to come and go throughout our stay.

This is very minor and didn't bother us much but there was no standing shower, it was just a bath. They clearly made an effort to make it as good as possible by mounting a shower-head holder in the bath next to the tap but it was low, so you had to sit or squat in the bath. However overall they put a lot of thought into the aesthetics and it is really a beautiful and spotlessly clean bathroom! We were really very happy and would highly recommend staying here.

The host, Katarina, was exceptionally welcoming and lovely. She gave us maps and talked us through the local area and how to make the most of our visit to Citta Alta - we followed all her suggestions and were very happy! The bathroom was beautiful. The room was very clean and had everything we needed - comfortable bed with spare blankets in the wardrobe, bedside lamps and bedside tables for each twin bed, a desk. And the location was fantastic! Just a block away from the main square (Piazza Vecchia) but far enough that it was nice and quiet.

when I booked the property it said private bathroom, it didn’t say external private bathroom. It appeared as external private bathroom once it was confirmed. It was little bit misleading

Location: great, right in the old city centre (citta alta), near Piazza Vechia. Perfect for visiting the old city Facilities: located in an old (13th century) recently refurbished building, one good size double bedroom with external but private bathroom, access to small shared terrace Katarina, the host, was very polite and helpful

The shower head was not fixed in place. The bathroom itself was very clean and big though.

The location was absolutely fantastic, in the center of the old part of Bergamo. Also the reception of the hostess was amazing, providing us information about the surroundings. The beds were very comfortable and the facilities were very clean.
