Location was amazing, the street below was full of bars and restaurants. The museum was in the same street and was very interesting. there was alson a very nice resturant that served lactose and gluten free food, a bonus for me!

We didn't like that if you arrive later than 8.59 PM then you have to pay 10, 20 or 30 euros (depending on how late you are). We also didn't like that there is no place to leave the bags on your last day, so we had to spend on a locker nearby 15 euros. Therefore, it is better to go to a hotel if you have these needs (arrival later than 8.59 PM, departure late on the last day). Because, if you have theese needs, the price can go up 45 euros more than it initially says. I reckon that the owner should invest in a system that allows people to leave their bag (just a locker) in case they arrive early or have to leave late. That would make customers very happy. It would also be super nice to offer a self-checking option for late arrivals without penalising customers with 10, 20 or 30 euros like they currently do.

Location is just the best (almost in front of Teatro Massimo). The staff is great. Marco was very professional and nice. The brekkie is a croisant and coffee in a near cafe which tasted vey nice and it is in front of Teatro Massimo. So that is a plus. Our room had the highest ceillings ever (they said it was the best room, so I assume not all are the same), it was clean and refurbished. Very nice overall for a bed and brekkie. IF you like bed and breakfast places (with no reception).

The room was absolutely beautiful, as was the complimentary breakfast in the square. Alessia went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible and it was! Just wish we could’ve stayed for longer!

It was dirty. Walkway to the hotel was unstable and health hazard. Dangerous. Dark. Inside the entrance work was still being done. Light bulbs missing. Broken faulty side lamp w hich is dangerous. Toilet went wrong. Electrics blew. Dirty sheets, pillows were very stained. Fridge and freezer not clean. No coat hangers only 3 rubbish metal ones. No outside light on terrace. No clothes airer. Fridge not emptied with decaying vegetables and water already opened. Shower mouldy. I tried to send photos to booking. Com and surprise surprise they ended the chat. I am absolutely disgusted and appalled by the condition of this property outside and inside. I would never go anywhere there again. I complained on very occasions and still need to send photos of the disgusting place. Don’t go there unless you like living like a tramp. We was never told about the work outside or warned about the inside neither. I want compensation for this disaster.

Booking said breakfast included but it’s not exactly like that. You can only order spresso and croissant (not even tea or cappuccino are allowed, you have to pay extra for them). I would recommend the hotel to inform better about this “breakfast included”. Notwithstanding the above, the stay was good overall for the price paid.

1. The owner called us before arrival so he knew when we would come, yet when we arrived, no one was there, we couldn’t reach him and spent more than an hour waiting for him not knowing when he’ll arrive. (We only spent 2 days in Palermo, so didn’t plan on wasting any time like this) 2. The place didn’t look like the pictures, was disappointing 3. When we checked out two hours later, he charged us for that - which was kind of unfair considering what happened at checking in, so he can be late as much as he want but we can’t.

The location is very good, in the center. And it was well-equipped.
