Nothing! There are steep stairs to the apartment, as one would expect from a building this old and in the historical centre of town, but Dario insists on carrying all luggage up for guests,

Everything! Fabulous central location right in the old town, and 2” walk to the beach, surrounded by cafes and restaurants, but very quiet in the apartment. Very comfortable room and bed, so clean and tidy and access to the common kitchen area too. There are only 2 rooms for guests so it is very private and homely. But the best thing is the host Dario, he is truly committed to ensuring that his guests love Cefalu as much as he does, and goes out of his way at every step to ensure an exceptional stay for us. It is also very secure with 3 locked doors (front door, apartment door and room door). Also windows to fresh air which are also very secure when closed.

We thought there would be a balcony but it was a terrace to other apartments. It did have a clothesline which was helpful. Mild smell in the shower but that is pretty common in Sicily.

Dario and his mum were lovely. The breakfast was amazing and really thoughtful. Dario went out of his way to get fresh and locally sourced products. Room was exceptionally clean and well decorated. Bed was comfy and the shared kitchen and dining facilities were a nice touch, only one or 2 other rooms in the property so it felt like a private guest house. Location is fantastic.

Perfect location with in walking distance to everywhere we wanted to visit. Amazing host! Great communication, extremely accommodating allowed us to check in prior to the check in time, shared great recommendations, offered a delicious breakfast and made our trip extra memorable with a special surprise he had for me on our last day! Dario’s attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction were evident in every aspect of the hotel. He was always available to answer any questions, provide local recommendations, and ensured that all our needs were promptly taken care of. His passion for his property and the region was infectious, and it made us feel like we were staying with a dear friend rather than at a hotel. The hotel itself was a hidden gem. The rooms were spacious, elegantly decorated, and impeccably clean, providing the perfect blend of comfort and luxury. Furthermore, the hotel’s location in the town center was ideal, with access to the beach in walking distance, and authentic Italian restaurants, as well as charming local shops all around us. In conclusion, I cannot recommend this property enough to anyone seeking a truly memorable and rejuvenating vacation. I’m already looking forward to returning to this little slice of paradise for another unforgettable stay!

The place is just in the heart of Cefalu, with restaurants and bars ,one step from hotel but inside is very quiet and lovely. We felt like we are home. Huge thanks to Dario and his mom .
