Evelyne is a fabulous host, met us at the city gate, and showed us some points of interest on the way to the very conveniently located accommodation. B&b was in the middle of the town but in a quiet street, perfect for our short stay. Lovely clean room, comfortable bed. Roof top terrace for a great breakfast was a lovely start to the day. Evelyne, the host was kind, attentive, and just lovely..

Just preferences but not to detract from the overall experience itself: It had been a very long time since I had slept on a single bed even as a solo traveller in a compact room. Also I found that the mattress was slightly too firm for me. However this is down to personal taste and also Taormina is generally pricey so likely the small single room price (which I thought was high) is about right for the area.

I booked this stay based on previous reviews and I am glad to add my own equally wonderful experience at B&B Evelyne. The proprietor Evelyne is such a gracious and helpful hostess who started communicating with me before my arrival. She met me in an easy to find location once I got to Taormina and started showing some of the points of interest as we walked to the B&B. Once there she went through a detailed tourist map for what to see and do in Taormina and gave some tips for where to eat locally. Food places she recommended were excellent. The daily breakfast itself was generous and typical European with cereals, juices/ tea/ coffee accompanying cold meats, different cheeses and pastries and fruit salad. Filling breakfast and drinks replenished on request. Served on the terrace which is a sun trap when the sun is out but also has shaded sections. If economically viable and practically feasible, I would add fish (for example smoked salmon), avocado and other green salady things to the breakfast menu just to give more variety. Location wise this B&B is central to the delights of Taormina just a few minutes walk away from the buzz of Corso Umberto, the Teatro Antico de Taormina, the Duomo etc. yet very quiet. Lots of cafes, bars and restaurants around to choose from. Evelyne was very encouraging of seeing most tourist attractions and it was worth making the effort. All in all a great stay for my first (but not last!) trip to Taormina. Recommend.

There were no complaints about anything.....we were very happy with the B&B Evelyn.

our room was on the 2nd floor.....it had a veranda overlooking the street. Breakfast was on the 3rd floor which had a large outdoor room with tables and chairs. The location was perfect and near the taxi area and entrance to the town. Evelyn was right there helping us to the B&B and she took care of getting the driver to take us to the airport. She packed us a beautiful care package for our breakfast the day we had to leave for the airport early in the morning.

It was so good to have a live in host, when so many bnbs operate remotely with messages & instructions. We were met on our arrival from the bus and escorted to our bnb by Evelyne, who gave us tips and guidance along the way. Our room was huge and all our needs catered for. The breakfast was excellent and Evelyne helped us with planning our drive trip to Mt Etna. This was a genuine bnb experience in the heart of the old city of Taormina and I highly recommend it to everyone. Evelyn is an energetic and hard working host who helps you have the best stay.

The B&B is lovely, conveniently located but a bit apart from the hustle bustle. Parking is down the hill from the town with a free shuttle; although parking is paid by the hour it was much easier than maneuvering through the streets of some of the towns we visited. Evelyne met us at the shuttle and gave us a thorough tour on our way to the B&B. She was a wonderful hostess and served a very nice breakfast. We had a delightful stay

Evelyne’s B&B is soooooo comfortable and well-run. It’s centrally-located, and Evelyne made parking our car for our stay so easy for us. The room itself was spacious, is nicely-decorated, and offered everything we needed for a very pleasant stay. Evelyne herself was helpful, kind, and very witty…..we laughed a lot with her. And breakfast was good, another excellent reason to stay at Evelyne’s B&B.

Evelyne is charming, friendly, kind and very helpful in every matter! Evelyne kept in touch with us before our arrival and gave us lots of hints and tips on how to best get to her accommodation. The accommodation is beyond wonderful! The location is central in a beautiful environment. Our room was just amazing, stylish and tidy, as seen in the pictures, with a wonderful balcony! I can only recommend this housing to everybody! Definitely worth the money! Evelyne also told us about Taormina's history, made kind recommendtaions on what to see and visit and which are the best spots to eat at. Thank you for everything, dear Evelyne! Evelyne was absolutely lovely. She went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. She was friendly and attentive, provided heaps of Information about Taormina, and helped us select a restaurant for a special dinner. After 20 years of travelling together she was the best host we’ve ever had. She wouldn’t even let us carry our bags upstairs. Breakfast was beautiful presented, with lots of options.

If I were to nitpick, there was no good place to hang a wet towel which could become an issue during a longer stay. Also there was a step between bathroom and the living room which made me almost trip a few times. (Maybe a reminder on the bathroom doors would help).

Apartment was great, located near the city center, Evelyne was a very welcoming host providing extra information about the neighborhood and serving excellent breakfast on a terrace. Bed was very comfortable and window blinds ensured uninterrupted sleep.

The property was wonderful, but the highlight was the host / property owner, Evelyne. Staring from meeting me at the station to showing me around Taormina and even lending me her jacket for a tour to Etna, Evelyne went above and beyond to make my stay extra memorable! She made me feel so welcome and looked after, I really appreciated it. Other highlights included the breakfast spread, the view from the terrace where breakfast was served, and location of the property in the heart of the town. My single room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone!

Wow, what a great host is Evelyne, from the moment we arrived in Taormina and she met us in the town entrance and helped with our bags. Everything was made easy and pleasant. Evelyne really enjoys being a host and goes out of her way to please you. The breakfasts on the rooftop terrace were fabulous and it was here that she helped us meet other guests, share experiences and have a laugh. She was very helpful with itineraries, things to see etc and the breakfasts couldnt have been more fun. She even took us and another guest to the beach for a swim which was also fantastic. Great location near the centre of Taormina but it was the host that made this so memorable. Thanks Evelyne.

We had a lovely room on the ground floor. Evelyn was a wonderful hostess who met us in the parking lot in Taromina. She helped us schlep our luggage. Fantastic location. We could walk everywhere. Many excellent restaurants nearby.
