Beautiful old building (originally part of the Abbaye) renovated to a high standard. Spacious bathroom & nice view out over the piazza. Easy, free parking just outside the rear entrance. Lovely hosts & snacks available in the communal dining area. Breakfast available at the cafe just around the corner - we also had a good, simple dinner at the same cafe.

The only minor issue was the noise of local youngsters hanging out late night at the plaza in front of the appartment. But it was saturday evening and it is small Italian town ;)

Everything was great. The owner was very helpful with everything, the room is spacious, kitchen fully equipped with snacks, tea, coffee, cutlery and dishes. Cleanliness was exceptional, morning views from the nearby city walls- breathtaking. Absolute gem!

We loved this gorgeous little hilltop town. And the accommodation beside the Abbey! Everything was sparkling clean and a very high standard. The hosts have an eye for detail and the spacious room, kitchen area and outside terrace with flower pots and view was just such a pleasure to enjoy. Parking was right outside the door. Instead of dining out we walked to the nearby supermarket and bought ham, tomatoes, cheese, grapes and melon and enjoyed it on the terrace. A lovely night in Montescaglioso thank you.

The air conditioning doesn't cut it for the size and the location of the room. No matter how much we let it on, the room didn't seem to drop the temperature.

Foresteria is located in an amazing building that overlooks the piazza Cavalieri. When we informed Antonio, the owner, that we were about to arrive, when we got there he was already waiting for us so he could make sure we had a parking spot in front of the building. The room was really clean and spacious. It gets cleaned every day. Would highly recommend.

There is not anything we didn’t like.

The location is a mix of modern and ancient. The room is modern and when you look out from your terrace, the piazza is ancient. The room is huge. I love the tiled, shiny floor that was sparkling clean. The King bed is very comfortable. The couch and ottoman came in handy as other seating and a place to put your stuff. The A/C worked (it was in the 40s outside while we were there in July) so we could sleep in a cool space. The bathroom was modern and clean each day. The owner, Antonio is very nice. He lives close by. The maid comes every day to clean and replace towels. She is very nice and helpful.

Our flights were delayed continuously and the staff were most gracious in accommodating our changes several times. Upon a very late arrival we met staff and due to previous plans could not stay. The town seemed quintessentially antique Italian and we will try to stay again. The staff even guided us out of the complicated streets very late at night so we could make it to our next appointment. Very nice, clean, spacious and modern room in the historic monastery house. Nice view from the balcony. Friendly and polite host, it was easy to communicate. Free parking in the yard. Nice small town, not so touristy. Definitely recommend this place.

It was a little difficult to get the key to the room because our phone doesn't work in Italy.

This is a good place to stay with very good restaurants nearby. We've stayed here before and really enjoy the location.
