B&B Hortus was a lovely place ! The location was excellent. The host was most gracious! The breakfast was so fresh and delicious - such a nice way to start our day.

This is such a gem. Lovely welcome, modern super clean room with a great bathroom & shower. Breakfast was great as well. Good location & very secure. We would definitely stay again.

We had a fantastic stay, excellent facilities, the room was super clean, great bed, great shower, with a safe and small fridge. The host was super helpful , helped us with alternative directions during vaporetto strikes, printed us maps to help us getting around. Breakfast it's super as well, access to espresso coffee all day and every variety of tea ever invented 😃 Highly recommend

Fantastic place - better than most hotels. Has a lovely private garden and a canal to the rear. Lovely owners, very very helpful in every way. Beautiful rooms, 5 mins walk from the Vaparetto stop. You will not get better than this, trust me.

Everything was absolutely perfect

This place is just THE best!!! The owners and staff are super nice. The modern room was spacious and super clean. The bed was very comfy. Breakfast was sooo good with fresh fruit, different cheeses, different kinds of bread and local sweets. The location is also very good. Lots of good places to eat and drink close by. Two Vaporetto stations close by, one to get to and from the Tronchetto parking and one on the Canale Grande. Both within 5 minutes of walking.

The building was incredibly quaint and in a quiet part of town, but was updated and modern inside. The service and amenities were amazing! Breakfast was delicious and the staff was incredibly helpful! We loved our stay, and would recommend it to anyone!

I had a wonderful stay at B&B Hortus, where I stayed at a work trip. The hostess was very nice and everything went smoothly with arrival and departure. Tasty and cosy breakfast (including very good coffee!). Quiet surroundings.

This is an incredible hidden gem! One of the best B&Bs we have ever stayed in around the world! It really exceeded our expectations (and I certainly am a very, but very picky person)! They really got me short of words to say how much we enjoyed our stay... Extraordinary hosts, room facilities, space and cleanliness, the toiletries,... It is silent and comfortable. Everything is extremely well thought and provided for your comfort. And the breakfast is top high quality. I can't recommend it enough... I would like to be able to be back and spend at least 3 nights with them!

The owners of the property ensured that even little details were taken care of e.g other than water, soft drinks were provided foc and the toiletries kit was even more comprehensive than that of hotels. Breakfast was a good spread of cold cuts, cheese, cornflakes. This was the best hotel out of the 4 we stayed during our Italy holiday (and the rest are all very good as well).

Totally amazing place, spotlessly clean, well furnished and maintained like brand new. To one side the windows open to a canal, and on the other side a very cute garden. The breakfast served exceeds anything from a 5 star hotel. The neighborhood is totally quiet, safe and very charming. The main square is just a 10-minute walk away, and doing so at night is an enchanting experience. The hosts Janina and Jaani are the most amazing people you will meet, with their cheerful smiles and devoted service and they go out of their way to please you.. B&B Hortus has my highest recommendation !

We had a wonderful stay at B&B Hortus, the couple that run the place were so friendly and accommodating as was the other lady working there. It was such a quiet location, not too far from main attractions with plenty to see and do nearby. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, so nicely presented and we were even able to have breakfast early one day. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a such a cosy, homely hotel, we really didn’t want to leave. Thank you so much.

The room was amazing. Very modern, excellent bed, bathroom and nice shower. Super quite at night but very close to good restaurants and just some steps from Vaporetto station. Breakfast is the best I already had in Italy. Janina and Joni were perfect in all details and information. It is a pearl in Venice. I strong recommend.

Everything about our stay at B&B Hortus was fabulous. The hosts are lovely people, I can't say enough about how accommodating they were. The breakfast spread was exceptional, the best in our 3 week Italian extravaganza, and it was refreshing to eat outside on the pretty garden patio. Our room was extremely clean, the bed comfortable, there was a large closet with shelving to keep our belongings organized and the bathroom was spacious and new. B&B Hortus exceeded our expectations, it was a truly lovely place to come home to after our magical days in Venice.

My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer!

Excellent location—a short walk to everything, and a doable 15 minute walk from the train station. Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted with hospitality and our hosts were wonderful! The home is extremely secure with keycard entrances as well. The breakfast spread was impressive and delicious. The room we stayed in was beautiful, comfortable, and extremely clean. Everything is well maintained and updated. You can tell that a lot of thought goes into the bed and breakfast facility. It had everything we could need, and included even the smallest touches like fresh flowers in a vase in our room. We got to enjoy the beautiful and peaceful gardens after breakfast with a freshly made cappuccino. I would recommend this stay to anyone visiting Venice!

This little B&B was one of the best accomodations we have ever stayed in. It is very well located, with a very nice little garden. The rooms are perfectly clean, comfortable and equipped with everything, you need. The owners are super nice and friendly, true hosts. For the breakfast they have prepared everything fresh (pastries, fruits, cold cuts, cheese), in a very good quality and broad selection. If you stay in Venice for a shorter or even for a longer period, this is a perfect choice.
