A bit of traffic noise esp on the weekend. But you can close the shutters.

Very central to the main points of interest in Siena. Clean with comfortable beds and plenty of space in the room. The owner could not be more helpful and accommodating.

This is a traditional hotel in an excellent location. Having a shared kitchen space was great and breakfast in the cafe next door was fun. Michele was super helpful and friendly.

This is a lovely little BnB, the room was large and nicely decorated, with it's own bathroom. Easy to walk anywhere in Siena's old Town from this location. Very nice and friendly host who was helpful with information on Siena and the sights. Breakfast was at the little Cafe next door. A small breakfast but adequate.

Location,location, location!!! Beautiful ancient building in the heart of beautiful Siena old town, with an extraordinary service and our host’s great helpfulness, excellent breakfast served at the downstairs bakery, everything was perfect, we heartily recommend!!!

It’s really hard to find something that wasn’t good about the property. If anything the breakfast was a little on the weak side. It’s farmed out to a bar next door and not really bad, but not really what we would have expected for such an awesome property.

Location was awesome. Room was very nice and was all very cool! We really appreciated Michale the owner. He’s done a great job figuring it all out.

Your stay at La Fontanina gives you a voucher for free breakfast at the café next door. The surroundings are clean but basic, as is the breakfast: a drink, a pastry, a yoghurt. If you want to breakfast in style, it's probably better to pay to eat out at one of the many excellent cafés locally.

Great location only 3 minutes walk from the Piazza del Campo (effectively the town centre) and the Duomo; less than 1 minute walk to one of the best art galleries, the Pinacoteca Nazionale. Surrounded by a choice of great places to eat in or eat out. Set in a historic building, rooms are traditional in style but clean and very comfortable. There is free use of a clean tidy kitchen, chairs and tables and free Lavazza coffee pods. Michael the owner was very helpful. Even after morning checkout he let me hang on to my keys so I could leave my bag and retrieve it later in the day.

We didn't stay long enough@

Despite a 20-minute walk uphill from the bus station, we absolutely loved our accommodation. Our host; Michele,was an absolute treasure who greeted us and made us most welcome. Once we got our bearings, we realized we were within short walking 🚶‍♂️ distances from Il Campo and the Duomo. A very substantial breakfast was served in the local Bar downstairs. Our room was large and well equipped for our needs. A bonus was the use of a well equipped communal kitchen. An elevator made access to the property from the street level so easy!

We arrived late at 8 p.m, but Michael met us and gave a very detailed description of everything. It was really nice to have fruits and sweets as welcome greetings. The location of the hotel is in the heart of Siena where you can easily find many shops and the main square is in 5 min walk. Michael even helped to book a taxi in the early morning. Thanks for everything! Hope to see you again soon!

Breakfast was quite average and just below the accommodation. Not enough .

Responsive and helpful host, great location near attractions, quiet room and clean , nice bed.. only pros was getting there by bus we were quite lost and had to take a taxi but once we reached there, we were transformed to a different place.. Overall, a good 👍 stay.

The wi-fi signal was quite bad. The elevator is rather small and difficult to use, but it's good that in so old building there's one at all.

The apartment is in the very heart of the city and very spacious and good equipped. The manager is kind and always at your disposal. The nice breakfast (if you like sweets) is included in the price.
