I was thrilled with my recent stay at La Matassina accommodation. I can confidently say that unlike other places, this establishment truly provides accommodation of excellent quality, which is also reflected in the 10/10 rating during the time of my reservation. Overall, my experience was unforgettable, and I couldn't have wished for a better place for my stay. The entire staff at the accommodation was always friendly and willing to help. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the owners, creating a friendly atmosphere that made us feel at home right away. The accommodation itself was absolutely stunning. The rooms were impeccably clean, spacious, tastefully decorated, and practical. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. I also appreciated the modern amenities and first-class services that were available. The facilities at the establishment were great. The pool was always clean with perfect water quality, and the kitchen facilities, including a fridge, were well-equipped. Even the little details, such as the availability of fresh herbs in the kitchen garden, or the various lounge areas, were designed with guests' comfort and needs in mind. The breakfast was rich and delicious, tailored to individual preferences. The location of the accommodation was also ideal. It was situated in a peaceful and picturesque area with a beautiful view of the Tuscan countryside. We enjoyed peaceful walks around and admired the stunning nature. At the accommodation, we highly recommend purchasing the owner's premium products, such as olive oil or homemade fruit jams, and others. All in all, my stay at this accommodation was absolutely fantastic. We highly recommend this place to anyone seeking accommodation of excellent quality. We hope to return soon to enjoy this fantastic place once again.

A wonderful place to relax and enjoy a great vacation. We loved the breakfast, kitchen/BBQ and pool facilities in particular. The owners had great suggestions for activities in the area. Fantastic!

Great place for a family holiday. The hosts are very flexible and kind, allowing us to use herbs and vegetables from the garden free of charge. The kids really enjoyed the pool. Location is great, allowing for day trips to the beach, nearby attractions and the wine region of Bolgheri. The view is fantastic!

The breakfast was amazing! The owners of La Matassina Tuscany are wonderful people. They are very caring und helped us at any time. We already miss them and the great landscape. We will come back for sure!

Literally anything! The owners with their kindness; the superb breakfast; the room was brand new, big, extra-clean; the swimming pool and the kitchen; and last but not least: LOLA the sweet cat!!! Irene is very knowledgeable about the area a she suggested us delicious restaurants not far from the property! I’m very happy I discovered this place and I can’t wait to come back! Thank you very much La Matassina ❤️

the pool! we arrived late on our first night - we intended swimming early but during Breakfast we witnessed the cat of the property drinking from the swimming pool. these hosts present “a sweetness and light profile” but when asked very courteously to please reimburse for the next two nights (as booked 20 hours previously) they turned very indifferent, falsely not understanding and plain rude. The outcome we had nowhere to stay that night - Relations with this host turned so bad we could not stay even if we wanted to!!! They point blank refused to reimburse for two nights (or even just one night!). Therefore our only night at this property cost us €628!!! The host took our room key and gate zapper but would not refund any amount. ⚫️customer service = ZERO (attitude - feigning poor understanding - aggression ⚫️health and safety = HUMAN HEALTH HAZARD (if you enter the swimming pool) ⚫️cruelty to animals+++ (during breakfast we witnessed the cat waiting at her bowl at the back door of the kitchen - obviously thirsty - she eventually resorted to drinking from the pool!!!). Italian SPCA should be informed. ⚫️the property is remote - gated - an upmarket hostel type accomodation - friendly to a point as long as you do not draw their attention to any problem. ⚫️the local village is a trucker stop - not suitable for holiday dining for families - however the pizzas ‘to go’ were very good NOT SATISFACTORY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

the pool - (however health and safety issue due to a cat drinking from the pool) near a beach - (however the nearest beach had very poor reviews re: contamination and artificial sand)
