We told Claudia that the instructions to get to the place were a bit confusing as there were no directions to turn left or right and street signs can be difficult to find. She was grateful for the feedback. Be aware that if you do find Via Bac Bac and a spot to leave the car, it is across the road from the restaurant Terre e Mare. From here it is 56 steps up to the apartment. If you have knee or back problems, especially with luggage, this is not ideal. In fact, we actually hired a tuk tuk driver in Piazza Luigi Pirandello. The amazing Alfonso also carried our luggage up the steps for us!

We had a lovely stay at Al Centro Storico. The room provided all the basics, a bed each, a small fridge, some storage, a table to sit at and a large, clean bathroom. Access to wifi was very good. There was a a lovely terrace where you could sit outside in the cooler mornings or late afternoon/evening. We were able to access the property with a pin sent to What's App. The breakfast was amazing! Claudia put on a fine spread of pastries, savoury eats, fruit and yoghurt. She was present every morning to make your coffee and tea to order. Thanks to Google Translate, she was able to communicate with us effectively. We could ask questions and she could let us know the best places to go. Claudia also sent information via What's app about local tourist destinations. The car park was secure, about a 15 minute walk with luggage when leaving (going downhill).

Everything, it was really very exceptional in so many ways. Claudia was an exceptional host. She attended to every detail with precision. She spent so much time helping us with way finding, best restaurants, sights to see, where to find public transport. The room had two balconies. It was a delightful stay. The breakfast was wonderful. We would highly recommend staying at Al Centro Historical. Claudia used a language translator that really helped with efficient communication. Thank You, Claudia.

    everything was fine

Lovely place, great sicilian breakfast. We had the large room upstairs with 2 balconies. Before going out we had a glass of wine with some olives on the rooftop-balcony and talked about the experiences of the day - greatest holiday-routine ever!

Nothing to offer in this category.

The proprietor, Claudia, was super helpful. She doesn’t speak English but is able to use her cell phone’s translation ability to good advantage. Kudos to her care for her guests.

The ally to the property requires some luggage lifting, but it’s common for B&B in Agrigento, as the town is on a hill.

Its location is near the center of the Via Aetna, the busiest street for restaurants, shops, and attractions. It’s only 800 meters from the train station and bus station.
