Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

RomaniaPubblic transportation is not very reliable at the end of september. We had to walk a lot and lost precious time. Breakfast was rich but only sugars.
Comfortable and friendly. Nice view and rich breakfast.Great coffe. Our host helped us with the car when we needed it. Nice 1 h path to Fiordo di Furore, but only stairs. A lot of cute lizards on the way.

FranceAlthough Furore has no center as such, the hotel is very conveniently located, close to the supermarket and a bar where we had a couple beers at night. The views from the terrace (where breakfast is served) are amazing, you get to see the coast and even the faraglioni. The host was very welcoming and nice, but although they are usually taken for granted, there are some rules specified in the room that he expects us to follow (use of towels and extra beds).

RomaniaThe owner was really lovely. He offered to give us lifts to the restaurant to my husband and our 4 years old son during night time when the buses were not running any more. Every indicațion was well explained as he is great at marketing. Very friendly host and really helpful. We will for sure be back. Rare kindness and good conditions for the money value.

A small town and wonderful people. Few stores around and restaurants. Took the bus to go down to Amalfi, which was easy and comfortable.

The room was absolutly fine, clean, got everything what you need after a long day. When you wake up, you can eat your breakfast with BEAUTIFUL panoramic view. The price is very cheap for all this. And the staff is very very kind, helpful, speaks english well too! Thank you for the ride it was huge help and overall thank you for everything! 100% recommend!

GermanyThe owner and his family is very humble and understanding. Although the hostel is located far from the Furore bus stop (Positano to Amalfi Route) , the owner himself offered a pick up ride from the bus stop to the hostel.

CyprusThe only negative about the hotels location is that the buses stop running at 20.30 which means if you want to get to Amalfi or Positano or come back at night, you will need to rent a bike, car or get a taxi which costs from 30-50euro.
Very rich breakfast and the owners and staff take very well care of you. Super polite and even though my arrival was very late, the hotel showed full understanding and they greet me with pleasure at night. The room was very big and had all the amenities you might need. Also, the view from the hotels top area, where the breakfast is, is magnificent.
