Front door of the building has a lock but it was often left open during the morning. Security could have been better.

Excellent location, within walking distance of Rome's attractions and right next to eateries and bars. Bahareh was welcoming and kept in touch before we arrived to help us find the location and access the building. Bed was comfortable and fridge and air conditioning worked well and was needed in May, as the weather rose to 28 C. Rooms were clean and tidied every day, towels and bedsheets were replaced every couple of days. Old building with charm and character, no lift. No problems with WiFi on the 3rd floor.

Various sources of noise (pipes, bars outside, AC, people outside of the room). Bed was too soft for my taste. Bathroom is clean and working properly but could use a make over.

Check in/out was frictionless even though I arrived late and left early. Room was small and simple but clean.

The location is great, most things you would like to visit in Rome are within walking distance and there are many bars and restaurants nearby, and close to a taxi rank. The room was clean and comfortable and a great size. The heating was on when it was cold and there was also air conditioning if it was too hot. There was a fridge in the room to keep drinks and snacks cool, and the beds and towels were changed. The facilities were really good and the lady on Reception was very helpful and contacted us with check in instructions before we arrived

Since the hotel was in a central location, the sounds of entertainment venues could be heard.

The location was very good. We never had to use public transportation while visiting Rome.

The only problem we experienced was the wifi. We had room number 1 and there was no connection at all (probably because room 1 is too far from the router).

Our stay in Magenta Collection Fico was absolute perfection. Since before we arrived the staff was on top of everything and taking care of us so everything went smooth in our arrival which was late in the night. The room was super clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The cleaning service was super good and the service from Bahareh was outstanding and unbeatable, she was always there for us, attending our necessities, answering our questions and taking so much care of us. We could not have chosen a better place to spend our honeymoon. And the location of the hotel is, in my opinion, one the best zones in which you could stay, it is super close to everything, there are a lot of restaurants and cute stores around and a lot of things happening around. In general, it was marvelous. An enormous thank you to the whole Magenta Fico staff for hosting us and specially to Bahareh.

It was far too loud, there was noise all night from the air conditioning outside the window. In the mornings, the lady at reception was loudly making friends with all the guests. Unfortunately, she didn't realise that she was an employee in a hotel and spoke incredibly loudly right in front of the rooms. So if you want to work or sleep past 9am, you'd be better off sleeping somewhere else than in this hostel!

It was clean, very close to all monuments, bed and shower are good.

The staff was very helpful. I made self checkin and she helped me very much. Location is very good near the city center you can walk by 10 min to castello san angelo and street is very funny with cafes and restaurants. And you can leave your luggage after check out.

- we stayed in the room 1 which had a bar on the street. it was noisy at night - wifi was slow - there was hot water but the pressure was low so we had to open the hot water on the sink for the shower to get hot

- bahareh was an excellent host - clean and comfortable beds - location right downtown and near public transport - smooth check in and luggage storage - had room cleaning service and free toiletries

The stairs were a real killer. Having more than a carry on or a few duffel bags it is really hard to get to a room on the 3 or 4th floor. Would of been great to have someone take our bags up. Also even though the receptionist was very nice and helpful- her hours were short. So not so helpful in the a.m. or p.m. really my complaint is that it was difficult to get to the room. The location was good. It wasn't on a busy street but close to everything.

The bed was great and the water pressure in the shower was great but the sink didn't drain fast. The room was clean and the temperature was just right. Big beautiful window to let in air if needed. Coffee was offered but we didn't know how to work the appliances.
