How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Air conditioning only turned on if the room temperature goes above 26C, and air conditioning temperature can't go below 24C

Everything. The best customer service we have experienced. Awesome brekkie. Fantastic room and furniture. We would definitely recommend BB Venice Cinzias' to families and couples, everyone. There is nothing to dislike about this Family run B&B
This is the second time I have stayed here, on my return from the Cruise. Ideal location between the airport and Port. Family run B&B, and Paolo gave us excellent information on what bus to get to and from the centre of Venice. He also drew information on the map, so we knew exactly where we were going. The room was very clean and the shower and facilities were excellent. Breakfast on the Balcony was also nice. The room size was also pretty big for 3 of us, and it had a small fridge with bottled water for us to use. Will go back to this place again if doing another Cruise from Venice.

A warm welcome. Correct, orderly conditions. Kind, friendly, helpful staff. Spacious, well-equipped room with a comfortable bed. Traditional Italian (sweet) breakfast. Delicious cappuccino! 15 minutes from the center, which can be easily reached by bus (3 EUR/person, round trip).

Our only remark is that breakfast can be improved a bit. Coffee was exalent but if there were some fresh items as eggs, cheese and tomatoes it would be perfect.
Place is very comfortable. The owner was very helpful with all needed information. Rooms are tidy and spacious.

We went to the hotel in April 2024. Very good located, quiet area, just 200m to the bus station which brings you to Venice in 10min. Very kind staff at the hotel. Parking directly at the hotel yard. Very clean room and comfy beds.

Excellent location with secure parking for our car. Room was very comfortable with lovely breakfast included. Our check in was so great as we were shown local map with locations of transport, restaurant and where to buy transport tickets. He then provided us with a map of Venice and spent time going through main sites, routes to take and some other tips. Great communication before our arrival and advice about how to apply for exemption for access fee for Venice. Excellent location to get bus into Venice which ran frequently. Definitely recommend.

The breakfast is not something to count on. There was coffee, iogurt, a few crackers, croissant and a portion of fruit. Was really the only thing we didn't like.
Staff was very nice and helpful. The place itself is great, was very clean and the bathroom was large. Also, it's easy to get to the bus stop, very close. Took 15 to 20 minutes from the closest train station (walking).

The owner is a really friendly and will give you a lot of useful information and recommendations on where to eat and what to visit in Venice. The apartment is near the bus station which will take you directly to the Old Town. The room is spacious, with a safe deposit and balcony. Croissants and pastries were for breakfast. I personally liked the parking in the house yard.

Owners are super friendly and kind. Rooms are spacious with all necessary facilities. Italian breakfast was delicious. There is safe parking place. Cleanliness is on top! We were very satisfied. I recommend it for sure!

Very friendly and kind host. Room had everything you need to stay for the night. Comfortable and big bed. Breakfast was ok (do not expect hotel multiple choice style). Location was fine around 15 min walk (with baggage to train station) no big shops around.

Considering it was February it was very cold and central heating maxes out at 21°C which feels really cold considering the bare floors, I would loved to have had some extra heating appliance
Cute house, close to the bus station for an easy ride to Venice, free parking, very quiet neighborhood. Paolo was incredibly welcoming and informative. Having an elevator is a great addition for handicapped access and carrying larger pieces of luggage.
