This B&B is located in the heart of Palermo’s historic center. The staff was very attentive and helpful, our room was comfortable and clean, breakfast was wonderful. It was a wonderful experience.

The shared parts of the property - a top floor flat in a large palazzo - was usually very hot, and not kept air conditioned. This prevented us from using the comfortable sitting room, although it did make sense from an environmental perspective. Our room ('Stromboli'), while large, comfortable and modern, only had roof windows with no views. We booked quite late, and these were only minor observations.

Very warm welcome, and consistently cheerful host. The continental breakfast was plentiful, with lots of choice. The air conditioning in our modern, scrupulously clean room was essential during a very hot and humid late August, and the King size bed was comfortable. We were well placed close to the centre, within easy walking distance of the majority of sites and central restaurants.

The only downside was that while the bathroom was large, there wasn’t anywhere to store your stuff, adding a bench or table would be super helpful!

Great rooms, wonderful location, and fantastic warm hospitality from the lovely staff. We booked last minute after our flights were changed due to an airport closure, and the staff were super helpful and accommodating.

The hostess, Rodi (sp), was always positive, helpful, and flexible in meeting our breakfast desires. The room was nice with access to the lovely terrace. Free bottled water was very much appreciated. Room was quiet.

I was sad that I wasn’t able to enjoy a breakfast on my second morning. I wish I’d been offered something to take to the airport for my early flight! (I did help myself to an orange!)

I loved the fact that it was so unique. each room was different and the sunny roof terrace was such a great bonus

Wonderful property right in the middle of Palermo. When we visited in January, it was very quiet. The staff were wonderful, super helpful, professional and knowledgeable. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable, and the whole property was chic and spotless. Delicious breakfast. Would absolutely stay again.

A perfect stay. Within walking distance to all the main attractions. Check in was smooth. The room was a perfect size, nice and warm, quiet with housekeeping everyday. We were able to use the facilities until our evening departure that was an added bonus. I will definitely come back to this place. Thank you

Really spacious, well-equipped and comfortable room in a beautiful building, but with the added bonus of a gorgeous kitchen, lounge, dining and fully-stocked bar area which is only shared with three other rooms.

Fabulously appointed, absolutely everything you could have needed, including complimentary water, coffee machine and even a cocktail bar. Emanuela could not have been more helpful from checking on our car to providing breakfast in-house because of the rain. Nothing was too much trouble

An absolute gem in the historic centre of Palermo.Welcomng staff who arranged airport pickups and late night check in, Charming and quirky decor in the rooms and delicious breakfast Fantastic location for sightseeing,walking distance to so many beautiful cafe bars and restaurants .Would highly recommend staying here on a trip to Palermo.

It´s important to let know the guests that the breakfast it´s served in another accomodation near by the one we stood, and that it´s on a 3rd floor without elevator, so not quite recommended to the elderly or persons with back problems.

The hotel / apartaments has an excelent service for their guests, the help from Rodi and Emanuela were great, we could also laundry our cloths without a charge. However, the wifi wasn´t very good from the room. The breakfast was good, they served, fruit, jam and cheese, cereal, bread and coffee, the necessary to start the day. The location it´s not far away from turistic attractions or to the bus stop to catch the hop on hop off.

See above - the uncomfortable mattress and having to share the breakfast table with strangers; also the cupboard bedroom with no windows.

This is a slightly odd set up. On Booking.com it appeared to be a small hotel and it wasn’t until after I’d booked and paid and received more details that it became apparent that this is a sort of hybrid Airbnb. It’s basically a flat and each guest gets their own locking room but you share the lounge and kitchen/diner. There’s a very nice terrace to sit out upstairs. You are greeted by warm and friendly staff and they serve breakfast each day and - most unexpected - daily chambermaid service. The trouble for me was that I really hate the model of where you have to sit at the same table to eat with people you’ve never met. Some may love this, but I do not and it made me edgy and uncomfortable. And speaking of uncomfortable, I can’t quite put my finger on why, but the bed was very uncomfortable and neither my husband nor I slept well while we were here. The really big issue for me was that our bedroom had only a roof light and no windows. I found this really claustrophobic. I think other rooms in the apartment had a more normal window set up. However the flat is very centrally located to easy to get around Palermo. The flat is nicely decorated and the huge living room was very comfortable (which unfortunately only served to contrast more with our small cupboard like bedroom). It is certainly good value for money and if you don’t mind the ‘all jolly travellers together’ vibe it may well be right up your street.
