Lots of bars and noise right below. Would be excellent if bar hopping was your thing. AC wasn’t working but the weather wasn’t too hot.

Elevator to the room broke down so had to drag suitcases up the stairs. Shower abit small. Comfortable space, just ok.

It’s not really about the property, but the street where it’s located. There are 2 bars that are working until 2 am with people drinking and screaming right there on the street, in front of the window. Really not the best spot if you want to have a good night rest.

It was in a great location but also because of this it was quite noisy. Lots of bars near the front door. Also communication with management wasn’t the best.

Bring earplugs as Trastevere is a late night party place so it can be t bit noisy, but the place has a great vibe too.

A cute little apartment with everything you need in a fantastic spot with great bars and restaurants at your doorstep, literally! Very convenient to walk to all the sites too.

I believe there was no breakfast service and I would have also liked the receptionist to be more present in the building. We (and others) had a problem when arriving to the hotel because the door needed a code to get in. No one was in the building to open the door for us and we were lucky enough to be able to call from one of our phones, as not everyone has access to international calls! I would have liked to know that before hand; to get an email that provided the code and room number if the receptionist is not going to be there.

The location was exceptional, I could not recommend it enough! We walked everywhere from there (it was tiring but the maximum distance we walked from the location to a point of relevance was 35 - 40 minutes!). The bed was extremely comfortable and the bedroom was beautiful.

Air conditioning didn’t really work so we struggled with the temp of the room. Also the water would only get luke warm — not hot which was a bummer as the bath tub was really nice but wasn’t really usable

It felt like the property needed a bit updating. It was also rare that you would see a member of staff. It was self check in, we would have liked to have been checked in by a person as opposed to over whatsapp. You also need to phone the hotel when you arrive, which we didn’t realise until somebody who had just checked in came up to tell us after we had stood outside the door for a while.

The location of the property was good & the room was big.

moldy shower, broken refrigerator and very leaky air conditioner. I would recommend supplying a white noise machine as the bars below are very loud until 2am each night. note to owners: staff from Mate Bar very rude, tables with people consistently in front of front door gate to the BDB making it difficult to get in and out. When my husband and I sat at the table and asked for a drink the waitress yelled at us to leave because my husband was eating chips from another vendor-we didn't know this wasn't allowed. She didn't realize we were staying at the BDB and was very rude the rest of the week.

location was ideal for touring Tome and neighborhoods by foot or taxi. bed very comfortable. cleaning staff very friendly and helpful.

Bathroom was not too clean with some mold spots in the shower. We didn't have a lancet in the first 2 nights.

Fantastic location right amongst the popular bars and restaurant area. Very clean, comfy bed, and good air con. Host was very helpful and let us check in early. Very quite as windows soundproofed.

The images made room appear much larger than it was. Couldn’t reach support by telephone when I arrived. Guests exiting the front door suggested I use Whatsapp to contact help and that worked. But i was given no specific instructions for this by management.

Check in email details needed to be sent earlier. We received them after we had arrived and needed to get a local to contact to get us the code and let us in.

The location was really good and so easy to get out and explore Trastevere. The beds and bathroom facility were modern and comfortable and plenty of PowerPoints and serviced each day. Also very quiet considering the location below some of the most popular bars in the area.
