How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Everything was great.
Very nice and very clean apartment in center of Pontebba. Delicious croisants for breakfast. Free parking spaces on the street in front of apartment.

Relatively far from nassfeld skiing resort, about 20 min drive. Everything else was exceptional.
This was probably the best booking experience that i have ever had! The apartment is almost luxurious, as it is extremely spacious, and also warmed up to really comfortable temperature, even when we first came in! The staff treated us better than in most 5 star hotels, as they were very friendly and helpful, they even provided us with additional hangers for our wet skiing clothes! Perfect apartment for a skiing trip, as it is designed with that in mind. Very good service and infrastructure. Comfortable and clean beds(and everything else too).

A lamp above the dining table and a microwave would have been nice, but we could totally do without it too.
It's a great apartment right in the middle of the town. The beds are comfortable and Claudio, the host is super friendly. The fresh croissants every morning had been a nice and delicious gift. It was very comfortable for the 4 of us. It was clean and spacious.

The appartment is very well equipped and large, right on the main street of Pontebba, which was perfect as we were skiing at Monte Lussari and Nassfeld/Pramollo which are both just a short drive away. Check in is in the bar nearby which is open until 22.00 and the staff are very friendly - they even provided us with free croissants for breakfast. The bar also sells skipasses for Nassfeld, which are a bit cheaper than the ones bought directly at the resort, but they have to be paid for in cash. Overall a great value stay, far exceeded our expectations.

Unfortunately, bar was closed next morning, so no croissants for us. :( But this is just a bad luck for us, basically no negatives. Good value for money :)
Very nice, spacious apartment with great attention to a detail. Also very clean. Easy communication and arrival.

Well equipped, comfortable and clean apartment. You get free croissants for breakfast from the friendly host Claudio at the bar next door. The bar itself is a great place to get breakfast or a drink in the evening. To be repeated.

Our second occasion here. Nice as it was. A walk distance from everything, and a parking spot in front of the apartment. Easy to collect (and return) the keys from the owner who is running the bar next to the apartment. Highly recommended.

The appartment was very spacious and well equipped. There were even some toys and books for children, what appreciated our son. In the morning we got delicious croissants for free. Can only recommend.

We stayed overnight on our Alpe Adria Bike trip. It has all facilities, separate entry hall for bikes (you can also power them up there), kitchen is equipped for a small breakfast or alternatively one can opt for breakfast at the owner's bar next door. Rooms are spacious, clean, the stay was comfortable.

Location is good for going to Nassfeld ski area but does not offer much more.
Exceptionally clean and very well equipped. Excellent comfort.

Every think was great, maby we colud use a sharper knife.
Wery spacious apartement, clean. The apartment was cleaned every day. We even got some breakfast facilities even thou we did not payed for it. The bathroom and kitchen were perfect and we coludnt ask for more. Beds were comfortable and a lot of extra blankets were there.

I did not unlike nothing, but for longer stays, a microwave would be nice (the kitchen is plenty of facilities anyhow). For bikers, a hard mattress would be better. But, take it as suggestions, not criticisms. It is an excellent place.
Great place at good price. Claudio was a great host and all went well in a very well equipped and cozy apartment. Full of amenities and facilities, with a good Internet

The place is quite dark and people walk past the only windows in the living room which is a bit uncomfortable. The towels were also dirty. These two things aside, we still found the place more than suitable!
When riding your bike along the typical trail the place is immediately accessible which is appreciated that it's so easy to find. The unit itself is extremely spacious with milk, cereal and water available. You can also get a 20% discount on the cafe that you bike up the keys from which is nice. There is netflix which is also great when you want to unwind on the couch in the evening.
