We arrived to a comfortable, clean and beautifully appointed room with an unexpectedly huge terrace and amazing view. The feeling was that you were a welcome guest in someone's grand home. Breakfast was some of the tastiest and most authentic Sicilian food we had and was fresh and delicious with a vast selection. The balcony seating for breakfast was like something from a classic movie. We have one of our most memorable holiday memories from staying at this lovely hotel. We will do everything we can to visit again.

Private terrasse, incredible sea view, large choice of options for breakfast. It was very nice to walk around the hotel decorated with flowers and well maintained. Staff speak many languages. We loved it. I would strongly recommend.

Not sure what the hotel could do about it, but parking was almost scary. We had two large cars for seven people and almost turned back when we saw the parking area, which was straight down a hill with a hairpin curve halfway through. It worked out in the end with help from the hotel staff the first day and then strategic parking the second.

The hotel was built in 1908 and keeps the ambience of old Sicily. While the rooms are just basic, there is everything you need and very clean. The bar and restaurant areas were beautiful, breakfast was the best we had had in Sicily. Access to the town center was great if you are up for walking steps.

The location of the hotel is excellent, as the views are breathtaking, and there are a number of good restaurants, a beautiful public garden, and interesting shops in the vicinity. The breakfasts are very good.

Slightly isolated with a steep walk uphill to town. No easy to get to restaurants or dinner available within the hotel.

The view was amazing but the most amazing highlight was the superb buffet breakfast. Best we’ve ever had! My wife’s gluten intolerance was also well catered for. And Carlo, the owner, was a perfect host.

It's a little walk in to town, up some steep steps which will be difficult for less mobile people. If the hotel had a pool, it would be 4*.

We loved the building, room, terrace, view, reasonable pricing, and the variety at breakfast time. We had one of the larger rooms with seating area and shared terrace. The view was atunning. There was a shuttle facility to a beach club.

This place is really special. Can’t imagine better views. The staff are very friendly. Breakfast was amazing. The walk into town was very present. Because it was very warm for the time of year we got a free shuttle down to a lovely beach club. It is wall really great and amazing value. If available book the suite!

We had a 2 bedroom where one of the twin bed sets were up a steep flight of stairs.

The breakfast is amazing. The views from the balcony were wonderful. The walk to the town was easy as the location was close by.

Parking is available, though very tight & steep. However, they will park your car for you, which was very helpful, so not really an issue..,

Excellent location and incredible view of the sea! Gorgeous flowers everywhere, comfortable bed, a small frig, very helpful staff. The free breakfast is an absolutely amazing! A feast of many wonderful, delicious breakfast foods. desserts & juices - in the gorgeous indoor & out dining area, with beautiful music. Staff will deliver a bottle of wine , with glasses & small snack to your room in the evening! Free parking, also!

Not the fault of the hotel but the location is down the hill a bit and therefore a few steep steps to get into main town. You can however take a cab up into the town for around 15-20 euros. Easy.

Spectacular views with lovely sitting area outside of our room. Would certainly recommend getting a room with at least a partial view. Excellent breakfast with lots of healthy selections. Wonderful staff makes you feel welcome.
