Amazing views lovely hotel

Parking is "interesting". You get used to it, but being in Taormina, you can more or less walk everywhere you need to once you are there. The reception staff are incredibly helpful.

The breakfast was superb - staff amazingly helpful with allergies, opinions, and going out of there way to be helpful. The view for breakfast is stupendous. Sea facing rooms have amazing views. Our room was a little unexpected in layout, but worked well. Had nice relaxing sleep. Definitely would come back if I could get certain rooms.

It doesn’t do any evening meals but not an issue for us.

The room was large and felt like a part of an old villa, full of charm. Lovely ceramics and art everywhere. It is a short of steep walk to the centre and also to the path down to the beach at Isola Bella. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast is varied and fresh. There is no pool but also no kids!

Location is quite far from the center(10-15 min) and the pathway to the center is steep and not comfortable.

View of sea and etna is great. Parking lots are quite plenty. Room and breakfast is good and worth the price

The room was a little basic, but it was good for a family room, & the kids loved the split levels which meant they had their own floor!

We loved the amazing view, the beautiful old building & the very friendly helpful staff. The location was good, with a short cut to the beautiful Taormina gardens & to the centre. The room balcony & restaurants had a stunning sea views. We would definitely go back!

Good to arrive and depart by taxi, no close bus stop.

Location was perfect. Staff were helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was perfect. A few steps but quite an easy walk into town.

Nothing, but if you prefer modern hotels then you may think the rooms would need updating with more plastic and synthetic furniture. There was no evening restaurant which might have provided more options. The town had a hundred restaurants but only one menu ;)

Breakfast was excellent and varied by day. Breakfast staff were generous and attentive. Balcony view was superb. Lovely period decor and furnishings. Close enough to walk to town and get your steps in to walk off the calories.

Perfect location, perfect view and perfect staff. Room was not big but enough for us. Breakfast and car parking included in daily rate and this were quite important in Taormina. 15 mins walk from hotel to Taormina city center which was a pleasant walk.

I LOVED EVERYTHING

I loved EVERYTHING!!! The hotel was traditional and beautifully kept the night staff was sooo helpful when my husband lost his hearing aid and every morning the breakfast staff was so welcoming specially the older gentleman that always came over to make sure we enjoyed our beautiful breakfast

I loved everything, but the location of this hotel (like much of Taormina) is challenging for people with mobility impairments. An elevator will take you between two floors but there are a couple dozen steps up to the street entrance and down from the breakfast room/lounge to the desirable lower rooms with the terraces.

The shared terrace in front of the lower rooms offered spectacular sea views over a beautiful garden, with lounge chairs and an outdoor table and chairs as well for each room. It was a very pleasant and relaxing place to spend a quiet day. It was great to have on-site parking and even better that the staff parks the car for you, since the parking is down a curving sloped driveway that fills up by nighttime. The center of Taormina is a short but steep walk, on a small section of the road then up pedestrian stairs. A level of fitness is required to do this walk, and it is also easy and quick to have a taxi called to bring you to the center (and taxis regularly pick people up at taxi stands at either end of the town center). We also walked the much longer but very scenic path down to the Isola Bella beach area (and back up, we enjoy the exercise). The hotel has a very charming early 20th century ambiance that we loved. Breakfast was excellent with an enormous variety of savory and sweet options. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

Hotel had everything we wanted - we knew it didn't have some facilities like a pool, but given the location (steep hillside) that isn't really viable

The only thing that I can think of, was the wifi.It was cutting out a little bit at night, but we found spots like just outside our villa where we could get good quality Wi-Fi when we needed it..

We stayed here 2 days..The location was Prime… The staff was friendly and the breakfast was amazing. It was actually brunch… We had a Seaview room and it had a beautiful look out patio with two lawn chairs. We called our villa….it was very safe .
