There was some problems with spiders in the house but that can easily be fixed by spraying the inside of the house. One thing we did not like too much (which has nothing to do with the house) is that there are not many taxis in Bellagio so you have to take the bus which is fine but the last one is 6:05pm so if you want to have dinner at night then you will have a hard time finding a taxi but it is possible (we called and one picked us up)

Marzia was awesome, out of all of my years traveling around the world she's one of the best host Ive met. She was on Whatsapp with me all day to help me and even picked us up in town because there were no taxi or buses available late at night. She was the best! I think I should leave a few notes for good candidates for this location: If you're a family of 4-6 people and you have a car this is an amazing property to stay at and highly recommend! If you're a small family with young kids or strollers and you don't drive and you have a lot of suitcases then this place will be a little bit difficult because you have to take the bus and you have to walk a bit. If you don't mind walking and taking the bus then this place is right for you.

Kitchen is poor equipped, but if you going to eat in restaurants, it’s doesn’t matter. Lady that met us was writing obsessively throughout the day of arrival, a lot of unnecessary information and voice messages. When you're driving, it's not very pleasant.

We had a crazy mosquito plague whilst we were there and as the house is near water some mosquito nets in front of the windows or over the bed would have been good, especially since you want to keep windows open in the heath. The amenities in the kitchen were ok overall but the cooking pans were very old (the teflon was very scratched) and for health reasons it’s really time to replace these.

The view over lake Como combined with the awesome and spacious garden and the quiet location was perfect. The host Marzia was great in answering our questions before arrival as well as during our stay. The house itself is comfortable, good bathrooms and decent beds (of course this is always subjective). Good sized living room too!

The location is about a 10 minute ride from Bellagio and also there is no shops or pools etc local. You need to get to the next town who actually offer a delivery service for fresh goods and your able to get a taxi number online. But initially when you get there it can be quite daunting if you dont have a car. We coped fine but if we was to stay again we would definitely use a car as sometimes taxis werent available and the bus/water taxi times dont suit your holiday needs.

The villa was very nice. Great size with bedding, cutlery etc all available.

There is no restaurant or shop within walking distance, so a car is required. You'll stay in a semi-detached house, which means you share the second half of the house with other visitors. Unfortunately, we were told that we aren't allowed to use the garden of the other half of the house. Our garden was in sum maybe 4 x 4 meters (see pictures) - so not at all like promised on the booking page. On the last day of our stay, we started to get a problem with ants in the bathroom on the first floor. Probably nothing the host can do much about, but nevertheless very unfortunate.

The view was amazing. The house provided a lot of space. Check-in and check-out were both very straightforward. Bellagio (15-minute driving distance) is a great little town with some nice restaurants and a beautiful lakeside promenade. The whole area, in general, is very picturesque.

We depended on our car a lot. The access to the lake was a bit disappointing. Only tiny beach, no promenade to walk on, a busy road to cross. Not many things to do with kids/ teenagers, but perfect if you want to relax or walk in the area.

Beautiful view from the balcony upstairs. The facility was great, we loved the ping pong table and made use of it a lot. Nice gardens. Quiet. Mountain trail starts 5 min away from facility, beautiful scenery on the trail. About 10min from the beautiful town of Bellagio.

Parts of the house very outdated, especially kitchen (outdated appliances, issues making them work), beds not very comfortable and pillows very hard and flat, woke up every morning with a neck pain) Lotsof potential to a comfortable stay, as location is great. From pictures a little deceiving, as we thought that we would have unobstructed view to the lake, instead we had a neighbour's roof blocking the view (apartment 2B) Upstairs shower had not curtain, not able able to use unless taking a bath ...

The location was very isolated and we were advised not to walk on the the roads as it was too dangerous. This meant the only way to shop or travel was by car. The Bus service was very limited and finished about 7 as did the ferry service. There was no welcome pack not even a bottle of water which considering it was so isolated and no nearby shop was pretty disappointing. Nothing at all in the kitchen, no kitchen roll, condiments nothing and it was very dated and well overdue an upgrade. Would suggest to anyone booking to shop on the way

The host couldnt have been more helpful, we got lost at one stage and she helped us by sending more directions. She was very nice. The views from the property were stunning

The amenities were very poor, kitchen was dirty and we had to rewash plates and cups before using. Fridge also needed cleaning again when we arrived. The basement level with the shower room smelt of damp.

The owner kindly allowed us to arrive earlier than the published check in time which was a great help. Communication with her was easy. The property had a nice garden with views over lake Como. Bedrooms were spacious.
