Everything. Location was great. Free parking. Lovely shared kitchen with a balcony overlooking the countryside and coffee, tea and fruit. Lovely hostess who helped us book a local restaurant for 12 people.

It was humid and the aircon wasn’t great so we opened the triple glazed, acoustic bedroom window and got to hear the church bells tolling each hour and half hour all night - our fault really! Also the really good bathroom isn’t connected to the room which means a rather public quick dash across the hallway.

Lovely host and very clean, pleasant room right in the heart of Vinci with free parking right outside.

We liked the eqipment of the rooms, great location, beautiful view, responsiveness and kindness of owners. From Vinci is 1 hour or less to major sights: Firence, Pisa, San Gimignani, Lucca...

I would recommend this place to anyone staying in Vinci. The host was incredibly friendly and the place was clean and had a modern feeling to it. Imagine having a shower and looking out of the window that overlooks all the Tuscany fields filled with olive trees and wine vinyards.

Great room with superb bathroom. Excellent location in the centre of Vinci, walking distance of everything. Perfect breakfast via voucher in a nearby bar, minute walk, croissant/sandwich & cappuccino/coffee/juice.

A very small minus. The bathroom and toilet are opposite the room. But exceptionally large and comfortable. Is it actually a minus?

Great host, fantastic view. If you love Leonardo, Vinci is the place to start your journey. It is a small town but with a lot of history. This room is in the middle of Vinci, in front of the museum.

Everything was just so perfect for me. I dreamed for so many years to get to DaVinci's hometown, that being there and in this exquisite stay, was truly an unforgettable experience. Irene was the most kind and welcoming host. The location is superb, some steps away from the Museo Leonardiano and the bedroom's window with a splendid view (Castello dei Conti Guidi/Chiesa di Santa Croce -where Leonardo baptismal font is preserved-). The place is super clean, so nice interior design overall and convenient access with key card. The kitchen, with all you might need and you got a small balcony where you will fall in love with a Tuscany valley (beautiful sunset / see the photos). My bedroom was so finely designed in every detail; the lamps, furniture, bed (comfortable, elegant, impecable linens), the bathroom is a 5star one! If you want to immerse right away in the magic of Vinci, in a special home with friendly locals, Bellavalle is a must.

Superb location, comfort and cleaness. A very nice host. A very delicious food available in nearby restaurant for a very reasonable price. Ps. The bell-tower rings each 1h and each 30min but room is well sound-isoladed.

If both rooms are booked (by different parties) it can be a bit unpleasant to use the shared kitchen, for those who do not like to socialise. At a point I felt a certain control of how orderly the kitchen was kept ,although there were no other guests (it might be my excessive sensitivity). No wardrobe in the room, only a place to hang your clothes (actually there would be no place for it). But the spacious bathroom compensates for it. Wifi signal very week on the balcony. No serious issues overall.

Right in the centre of Vinci, across the museum. Very well located to visit Tuscany (San Gimignano, Lucca, Siena, San Miniato). Kind host. Good size room, with private (though not en suite) bathroom. Large modern shower. The smaller room has an en suite bathroom. Shared access to the well equipped kitchen, practical notably when only one of the rooms is occupied. Free coffee. Balcony opening from the kitchen, overlooking a nice valley (a typical Tuscan view). Great feeling in the morning to sit there. AC. Modern electric equipment (sufficient sockets, USB entry by the bedside to charge your phone), doors open with cards (even the external bathroom door, to secure private use), good light by the bed (dim light is a problem in many hotels). Wifi. Free parking on the street or on the parallel street. Mosquito nets on the windows. Overall a very convenient place to stay. A restaurant right next to the house and others within walking distance.

I travel frequently for my work internationally so it’s rather rare when I come across an exceptionally property that delights me in all categories. I congratulate the owners of Bellavalle Rooms of Vinci for this exceptionally beautiful fully restored townhouse with delightful appointments throughout. As a former real estate developer of multimillion dollar homes in upscale Greenwich, Connecticut, I can tell you that clients notice fine details especially when visiting important locations like the birthplace of the greatest genius of all time; Leonardo DaVinci. They want to treasure the memories. The hospitality of the owners, Irene and Marco was evident because of how eager they were to please me during my nearly two day stay. Marco manages the B & B with his beautiful wife and kids and he also acts as a tour guide for and extra small fee. He took me up to the mountains of Tuscany to view the home and museum of my childhood idol Leonardo DaVinci and I was overwhelmed with the old world charm of the Tuscany valley and the lush vegetation of olive and fig trees which were huge and plentiful! It was surely one of my most memorable experiences that I will treasure for the rest of my life! This property easily qualifies for a 5***** star rating!!! I highly recommend it to every traveler who is looking to escape the busy city tours and is interested in meeting authentic Italian natives that are friendly and eager to please you.

-Bathroom: private bathroom but not inside the room allocated. Need to cross a shared corridor to use the facility. -Breakfast: there is a bar nearby with set menu (sweet or savory). However not everything listed in either menu was available. Quite disappointing. Actually my booking didn't include breakfast, I just wanted to give it a try. The bar attendant was also not very polite. I ordered a tea and it was served with a used teaspoon. Checkout: 11.30 as per reservation online. On arrival we were told 11.00. Eventually, on the checkout day, there was a knock at the door at 10.40, requesting us to vacated the room for cleaning.

Fantastic room and even better bathroom across the hall. The location is superb, barely 100 metres from Da Vinci museum. Parking was available in front of the entrance.
