The host was extremely welcoming, very polite and supportive! Adviced how to do things to get the best experience from the trip. The appartment was clean, the breakfast tasty. The appartment located in a quiet and at the same time safe place. Near to Vatican (5-10 minutes walk). Bus station nearby. We loved the stay! We definitely recommend to others!!

We arrived as guests and felt we left as friends - Alessandra (the owner) has worked in hospitability for 30+ years and it shows!! She really couldn't do enough for us - she goes above and beyond to help you out. The continental breakfast was lovely, all freshly made we also enjoyed sitting with the other guests and hearing about their experiences. We went on an early morning trip to Pompeii and we were left a tray with breakfast in our room the night before - lovely touch. Our room was spotlessly clean and although the bed was a bit firmer than we're used too we slept well. Any issues we had getting around Rome - Alessandra was on hand to give us advice and tips even sorting a taxis out for us to get to and from the airport.

The apartment is situated very close to the Vatican and to a bus station where you can take a bus straight to the center of the city and many major touristic sites. The neighbourhood is beautiful, safe and quiet. The apartment is just as in the pictures, with a shared space for eating and an open kitchen. The room was clean, I think it's just enough space for a couple and has all the amenities listed on booking. When we arrived, we were greeted by the host, Alessandra who showed us the building and the facility. She sat us down and explained a few tips and tricks for our stay in Rome and made some great recommendations that made our trip all the better (from touristic sites to various places to eat and activities to do). She is absolutely lovely, one of the best hosts we've met, and is always there for whatever you need - also the breakfast is well worth it as it varied and is enough to last you well into the afternoon. It's a really wonderful place and it deserves all the praise thanks to the amazing host.

The breakfast was delicious- hot croissants, cheese, eggs, meat, fruit, yogurt, coffee tea and more. Delicious! The location was convenient to walk to most attractions. Best of all, however, is the host, Alessandra. She immediately made us feel at home and took care of our various needs. She honestly was the best!!

The location was great. Walking distance to many outstanding neighborhood restaurants and best gelato in Italy. The breakfast was also very good and it was lovely to sit with the host and other guests chatting in the mornings. Alex was just wonderful. She provided us with many great places to visit or eat. Always responded to our questions quickly. I highly recommend Beside the Vatican B and B.

If you had an issue with your stay you only need to mention it to the host and they happily address your problem. The only negative we had was with the elevator. It does limit weight in the elevator so over loading it with people and luggage can cause a problem.

We booked this B&B and it was a great location. Our luggage was lost and the host helped recommend some shops so we could purchase clothes. The hosts husband is a taxi driver so he was able to take my husband to airport and help retrieve our luggage for the normal taxi fee. The host was very helpful with any quires we had and very helpful with any questions we had. I would stay here again as we had a local person provide us with great information. It was wonderful having a person help us through the lost luggage problem and help with questions about the city.

Nothing Allesandra can do anything about, but just something to be aware about. It is a bit far from the city center, but still it was possible to walk to the city center in about 45 min. It is a 10-15 min walk from the Vatican museum.

Alessandra was an excellent host. She gave good tips about Rome and we had very nice discussions with her and the other guests at breakfast. Very clean and quiet. We felt very welcome in her B&B.
