How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The location is good for the airport and is close to the highway but it's far from the city center and you need to have a car for this. There is only one bus line in the relative distance but it's not recommended because the buses are really rare. The first night that we came to the hotel, we tried to go to Burger King (1,1km away) on foot but we realized that you cannot go anywhere on foot because there are no pedestrian sidewalks to pass the very busy streets. So, if you want to go to the city center, you need to have a car or call a taxi.
The location is near the airport and is probably good for this type of travelers. We chose this location as a starting point for the surroundings (Ligurian coast) and it's close to the highway which was a plus. The hotel has a garage (16 euros per day) but you can park in front of the hotel free of charge. The internet was excellent and the rooms were big enough. The breakfast was great.

Air conditioning didn’t seem to work. It was late so we didn’t bother asking the staff about it. We were able to open the window.

Smoking in the restaurant area or at least the smell of cigarettes smoke and the bathtub. It was so high I was afraid I would slip climbing out of it. Also the shuttle didn’t run very early but it might be a reason for that.
We like the cleanliness of the hotel. It was some minor maintenance that needs to be fixed but overall it was a nice clean room.

The dinner at the hotel could be better, for the money paid we expected better dinner.
Spacious rooms, very comfortable beds, pet friendly hotel. They even allowed our dog in the restaurant. Parking accessible even through the hotel, but there is a fee is 16eu per night for the parking. Clean hotel. Exceptional Breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We did book accessible rooms and did choose the hotel especially for this reason. Unfortunately upon arrival we only had 1 accessible room in stead of the 4 we have asked. They were helpful coming up with solutions, in the end we've managed to make the standard rooms work for us. But best to give a call in advance to confirm the accessible rooms after booking.
Hotel staff was really friendly and willing to search for solutions if needed. Breakfast was good, there were many options and quality of the food was good too. We also had one lunch in the hotel and this was also very nice!

The location is great in terms of the airport, but not very good for anything else. Walking from the train station wasn't ideal, it's more of a place to drive to really. Although very close to the airport I don't think you could walk there, but of course there is a free shuttle bus.
The proximity to the airport is great and the hotel operates a free shuttle bus to get you there. The room was clean and modern, perfect for our needs, which was a place to sleep for one night before flying home 👍

As mentioned its close to the airport which mean around 40 mins by bus to center .
The room size is good , well equipped and comfortable bed. The breakfast was good. Close to the airport 5 min by car.

The downside of the hotel is the lobby and the ground floor public areas, which are stark and not very comfortable or welcoming, with lots of very cold white LED lighting. That doesn't make you want to linger there.
The rooms are great, very modern and comfortable, with good facilities; breakfast is pretty good too; reasonably priced parking as well.
