Nothing, and I‘m not exaggerating, will beat the view of the seaside room. Also, the wonderful and nice nonna gave us a smile every morning. The hotel in general is inside a historical building and literally on the edge of this beautiful town. Would always recommend.

The town was very busy, so just be prepared for that. If you want a sleepy seaside town, then this is not the place. (But it's well worth seeing!)

I had the pleasure of staying at Blu Tropea Maison for one night along the stunning coast of Tropea, Italy, and it was truly a picturesque experience. The hotel's location, overlooking the breathtaking ocean, offered captivating views that left me in awe. However, it's worth mentioning that there was some noise from the nearby surroundings(mostly from our boats below at night with loud music), although it wasn't overly disruptive. The room itself was comfortable and clean, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploring the charming town of Tropea. The staff were friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. What truly stood out was the convenience of being just steps away from the beach, making it easy to enjoy the crystal-clear waters and golden sands of the coastline. In summary, Blu Tropea Maison offers a delightful coastal escape with unbeatable views and easy access to the beach. While there was some noise to be aware of, it didn't overshadow the overall pleasant experience of my brief stay. If you're seeking a seaside retreat in Tropea, this hotel is definitely worth considering.

Definitely the location. central location in the old town on the cliff-face and the 3 Seaview rooms have a panoramic view of the beach and ocean. there are also 2 city view rooms with a balcony. There is a common breakfast area with a kitchen where you can make a coffee or tea during the day. Beside the accommodation there is the viewing area of the town where people gather in the plaza for the view your Seaview room offers. The Seaview rooms in my opinion are not suitable for children as there is a very large drop to the ground below from the Seaview rooms.

The breakfast was described as ‘special’ or ‘superb’ or something similar. We went to obtain our breakfast just before 10am and there was hardly anything left! A single slice of cheese, no bread, 2 small slivers of meat (I’m veggi so no good to me). There was some left over cake and the last made us good coffee. But this was a very poor experience and nothing like the description. We had a very long journey too and needed the sustenance for the day. Very disappointed with this. BUT otherwise this is an amazing place and we will be back (maybe with a snack just in case!)

The location and view was unbeatable! Amazing and right in the centre of town so really convenient but really quiet (apart from the sound of the waves!)

No parking place nearbye. The historical centre is not accessible for non-licensed cars and the old but charming pavements don’t support trolleys on wheels or wheelchairs. Inside the amazing building there are some big stairs to take so not adapted for people with reduced mobility! Should be mentioned in advance on the website. You must find a parkingspot outside of the centre and carry your luggage. Parkingspots can be for free, but you must find out where exactly...

We stayed @ Palazzo Toraldo di Francia, an old castle next to Blu Tropea Maison. A dream! Right in the centre of Tropea nearby the popular point of view. Big room with ancient furniture. High ceiling and a big bathroom with walk-in shower. Exquisite breakfast in a classy dining room! Very helpfull staff, friendly and well-known with the environment. We got a lot of useful tips to explore the region, thanks to Nadia!

I left my ring with a blue stone in it yesterday. I definitely left it in the bathroom. I have phoned them and no answer, I have emailed them to say please contact me asap and send it to me at my expense. They won’t answer me.
