Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe only downside I'd say is that it would have been nice to have a couple of chairs and a small table outside or even a couple of loungers outside on the balcony. Its such a fantastic space but I had to drag the kitchen table outside to enjoy it properly. However, there was nothing I didn't like, the apartment was perfect.
The apartment was spacious and very clean. The views from the apartment were incredible! The courtyard to the front of the property was also an added bonus. It was well equipped with everything you'd need for a comfortable stay including a washing machine and clothes airer which is a major plus point especially if you're travelling with a family. The host kept in contact via WhatsApp before and during my stay which was great. To reach the apartment on foot use the lift from the Lido which costs just €1 and from there you'll find it located just a 6 min walk away. I will definitely be booking another stay!

Unfortunately the weather wasn't the best for us and as we were only here for 1 night we didn't manage to take advantage of the balcony - but this is not the fault of the owners. The apartment was perfect - it was lovely and tidy. An amazing view of 'little Venice'. Just a lovely stay.

SloveniaVery friendly staff. Check in was easy. The apartment has everything a traveller of our calibre needs. The view from the terrace is breathtaking. The location is perfect for visiting all the sights of Scilla on foot. It is easy to find excellent restaurants and bars nearby and the owner recommended us a really excellent fish restaurant by the seafront. We highly recommend it to other travellers.

United StatesThe apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation. We enjoyed the views from the balcony and loved the back courtyard as well. It is in a great location walkable to every part of town and Chianalea if you don’t mind stairs. We loved getting our workouts in just exploring the town.

Let's start with the view from our apartment...truly breathtaking uninterrupted sea views over the Tyrrhenian Sea. The apartment was modern and well equipped with everything we love when travelling - bright, spacious, pristine clean, walk away from centre. One of our loveliest experiences was our host Michealangelo has an arrangement with a local taxi driver who only charged a very small taxi fare to pick us up from anywhere in the town to take us home. We needed it because it was raining and the walk was very uphill. Everyone we met in Scilla were so helpful and we would definitely love to go back...thank you so much Michealangelo.
