Wifi is limited to one connection per person, so if you have a phone and laptop you can only use one at a time. Should be increased to 2. Probably you can ask for more during check in.

It was a few minutes away from Tropea. Bed was comfortable, heating worked great, bathroom was very modern. Breakfast was very complete. Convenient parking inside the property.

Amazing hotel from really such a nice family! Everything was great ! From very nice and clean rooms till very friendly and super nice stuff . And big plus for excellent food in daily bar and La Locanda ristorante.

Excellent service, all of the staff spoke besides Italian either English or German impeccably. Breakfast was good and fresh. The room's interior was not so much my taste but it was comfortable and well-equipped. Pool area is nice and not too crowded (at least during end of August when we were there). The surroundings of the hotel are beautiful and quiet. Without a car however it is virtually impossible to move around as for most or the road there is not even a sidewalk.

It was very fresh and clean, the staff were so kind and helped us with everything we needed. The restaurant that belongs to the hotel is so good! The best food we ate on our visit in Italy.

This is a beautiful family owned hotel with excellent, friendly service, a pool, a lovely restaurant, beautiful views, and delicious breakfasts. I had a lovely, modern room with a sea view and large terrace. I totally enjoyed my stay and would love to return.

Fantastic staff, really friendly and welcoming. Always helpful. Relaxing environment. Great breakfast options in the morning and great food at the restaurant in the evening. Provided transfers whenever needed, which were always reliable; this as a lone traveller was a fantastic bonus as it provided me with a safe, reliable and affordable way to explore the area.

Some rooms near the train tracks but noise was not a big issue.

Perfect stay for a long weekend outside of Tropea. Hotel offered shuttle service which we used to go into Tropea or to the beach at a very reasonable cost. On site restaurant was excellent!

Hotel location was a little bit too far from Tropea center. Public transportation was missing, but the hotel owner arranged us excellently transfers from and to the airport and to and from Tropea center as needed.

Can't say there were any aspects of our stay we did not like.

The rooms at the Borgo Santa Barbara are very clean, quiet and cool. The property grounds are very well kept and offer a perfect place to come and relax. The location of the hotel is great with Tropea and the ocean just a short drive away, and on-site parking. The rooms have very comfortable beds, pillows and offered both a good wifi connection and small fridge. Water pressure and temperature in the showers is perfect. The Locanda restaurant on site, the piece de resistance, was outstanding for the breakfast and evening meal. The nightly menu offers a large variety of fresh dishes made with excellent ingredients at a fair price. The staff are very professional and caring about their work and the guest experience, they took the time to explain the dishes and to to recommend specific plates and side dishes, providing background information on the region's produce and recipies; such as their famous Calabria onions. The wine selection was very good and the patio setting under the stars was quite romantic. Desserts are a must share. I recommend you try them all. Breakfast every day started with a freshly brewed coffee or tea with a quaint buffet style setting including croissants, fresh bread, cold cuts, yogurt, fresh fruit, and muesli cereals. I strongly recommend the boat tour with the Marlove boating company associated with the hotel. The skipper service is excellent and the RHIBs boats are very new and comfortable. Bring your snorkelling gear, the fish are waiting for you to share some bread crumbs.

We started with an argument with the manager because of a misunderstanding. His reaction was unpleasant and not hospitable. Small room and bathroom..

Nice area, well maintained, we received an upgrade of the room, good breakfast.
