It was a bit of a hike to the pool that invovled several stairs up and down. If mobility is an issue, that could be a challenge. To those in good health, no problem whatsoever. The stairs to the tub are not stationary, so one has to exercise caution during descent. We were extremely happy we did not book the Tower Suite. Far too many stairs. Their were 2 flights of stairs just from the 1st floor to the 2nd. Once you reached the summit (3rd floor bedroom), the incredibly low bed seemed 18" off the ground. As vast as the 3 story structure was, there was very little usable/functional space; besides was an inferno upon entry.

The staff was incredibly kind, caring and diligent. There was such sincerity in wanting each guest to be 100% satisfied with their stay. Sara (Front Desk/Reception) went so far above and beyond trying to exceed our expectations and make our stay as pleasant and comfortable as humanly possible. My wife and I thought she was an exceedingly rare gem we were fortunate to find. Ada and the rest of the breakfast staff were extremely attentive and always anticipating your every need. Giovanni is truly a handyman extraordinaire, always willing to go the extra mile to fix/adjust anything that is slightly amiss. It felt like a small, self-contained village. We booked the Morello suite which was quite expansive. Downstairs there are 2 air conditioners that kept the living space 'arctic-ly' cool in the sweltering heat. Additionally, there was an air conditioner in the approx. 300sqft bathroom! Amazingly, there's an underground garage you can park your car to escape the sun. The structures were all pristine and well maintained, even the common area WC. Most importantly, you were always greeted with a smile, a simple gesture that goes a long way.

We stayed at the Petrognano for 5 nights on july. The hotel is gorges and very othentic ! Every way you look you see the thinking about all the details. The rooms are very big and comfortable, the swiming pool is beutiful. The bracfast was very nice also. The staff was very helpful and helped to plan our trips and recommended of Several good restaurants are in the near by village - barbarino.

The mattresses weren’t the most comfortable.

This property is just lovely. The view from the terrace is amazing. Actually the view from everywhere is amazing. Pool and surrounding gardens are beautiful. Staff is wonderful and helpful with bookings and information about the area. Location is good and there are great restaurants 5 or 10 minutes away. Visited the beautiful surrounding cities. Breakfast was adequate, just the basics, nothing fancy. Any type of coffee you want on demand - loved it.

The location was incredible. It was in close proximity to all the sights (20-30 min drive), the nature was beautiful and the staff extremely friendly and forthcoming. Ilaria specifically was fantastic and helped us make reservations, recommended the best places to visit and went out of her way to make our stay the best it could be.

While the second floor of the executive suite was well divided and decorated, the first floor felt a bit like a waste of space. A central table, some plants and maybe a tv could really benefit it. I was tempted by the 88m^2 space but would’ve liked to see the luxury of the second floor in the first. Also, the windows are blocked by the exterior of the building, blocking all the beautiful views! which is a waste given the amazing views.

Stunning building, great staff, and ofcourse the beautiful views. The executive suite had the best bathtub you could ask for.

Stunning views, peaceful atmosphere, delightful accommodation and super-helpful, friendly staff. Facilities were well tended and breakfasts tasty. My vegetarian son was catered for well, which can be difficult in this meaty region! Thank you for a gorgeous Tuscan break.

I need to search what could be improved, and only because I can’t finish this without putting anything here, I am adding that the pool could use a shower right at the pool area. But asking for this is more like a joke, because just above the pool is a small cottage with a shower room, a restroom, and a small relaxing room.

A perfect to the point renovated estate. This is where you want to be when you want to go to Tuscany. Arriving, you can park your car in the perfect garage for free, and then walke through a tunnel to the beautiful little reception room. Everything is renovated perfectly and the crew is as authentic as they are professional. Welcome to the Italy you dreamed of. I will be back!!

We loved our stay! It was our second time in this property🙂We had an apartment in a tower with a lovely view. Lots of stairs inside will keep you fit ;) This Tower is really amazing. Swimming pool area perfectly prepared to relax in the middle of the garden. Nice people, lovely property and silence in the middle of Tuscany.

When i was drawing the curtains closed before getting ready to go to sleep, I had to discover that their were doucends of stink bugs behind the curtains. I found some of them also around the bed. I was so shocked that I even forgot to take pictures. I had been the only guest at the place for that night and the place does not offer dinner, which was ok. the staff had left the place early in the evening, so there was no one to whom I could haver reprtet, or who could have given me another room. So I tried to figure out how I would spent the night in that room. during the night the bugs went into hiding under the roof beams and else. in the morning there were less bugs around but to my horror there had some bugs landed on the bed. When I reported this after a night I had hardly slept because of all this bugs in the room, the answer was that they were sorry but that they couldn't do anything and didn't know what to do against the bugs, because the bugs would just invade the room when the temperatures fall in autumn. knowing this, the hotel staff still had not checked the room before installing me there and foremost they hadn't warned me. I had paid the full rate for the room, and the B&B did not even offer a reduction or a full refund. A refund would have been the least after this disaster. If not for the stink bugs, it is a good place to stay. But hotel owners and staff should in no way put guests in such a situation nor try to hide a problem, that can not be hidden. and those bugs will multiply, when left to their own like at this place... i'm sorry for the wedding guests the hotel will be hosting in the comming days.

we loved the B&B. our room and especially the bathroom were really big and the interior is in a lovely tuscan style. the pool area is amazing and so beautiful. breakfast was good and if you tell in the morning, you get fantastic dinner in the evening at the beautiful Terrasse; but there is also a sharing kitchen for the guests, where you can prepare your own food.
