My husband and I stayed here for four nights and it was an amazing experience. The staff were some of the most helpful we have ever encountered and they always greeted us so warmly. Every recommendation they gave was brilliant - from food to vineyards and horse riding tours too. We loved the ebikes. A very special thanks for Jonathan and Simi who made our trip so memorable. We will be back soon hopefully!!

This property is absolutely outstanding in every way imaginable. The room was gorgeous, clean and idyllic. The staff were beyond attentive and friendly. When we checked in, Carlo took our bags immediately to the room and greeted us with an exceptional cocktail - the best Aperol spritz I have ever had and I’ve been to Milan! Simi also gave an amazing tour of the property. Jonathan went above and beyond as a concierge. He was so helpful in answering our plethora of questions and organized amazing activities for us. He also helped my boyfriend arrange the most beautiful flowers as a surprise when we checked in our room. I have never seen such beautiful flowers before! The owners were also at the property and were so kind and the warm. The restaurant was outstanding and probably the best Venison I have ever had - make sure to have dinner at the restaurant one night.

Most of the staff however has a low knowledge of english and most of them I found annoying. The rooms were overall clean BUT both times they changed our towels the towels werent very clean... The plates for breakfast buffet werent very clean either. The breakfast wasnt the best, but we did not find a good selection of breakfast anywhere in Italy so lets say that it was average or just belove average. All in all i would say its a bit overpriced for the experience, but its probably justified by the fact that its in tuscuny so...

The property is cozy and very beautiful. A few of the staff is really lovely and welcoming.

Continued from above... The F&B is truly outstanding. Chef Giulio is seriously skilled and takes great pride in his food. He went out of his way to understand our dietary restrictions and made delicious meals bursting with flavour, including an exquisite wine dinner enjoyed under the stars. We ate some of our best meals at BSV and that’s saying a lot considering we were in Italy, where delectable food and wine is no rarity! What really stood out was the absolute pride the staff take in serving and engaging with guests. The team is diverse but share an innate curiosity, desire to learn and are proactive in their approach. One wouldn’t expect a boutique hotel in its first proper season to be operating so smoothly, but BSV makes the most of its resources and wisely invests in its team, the cornerstone of a successful hospitality business. There is real sense of camaraderie amongst the staff and the mutual respect and warmth they share with the owners is unusual. Shannon and Scott lead by example and we did not encounter a single disgruntled guest or member of staff. If anything, everyone was genuinely eager to please and go the extra mile. Wherever there was room for improvement, feedback was received constructively and openly, creating an atmosphere that was welcoming at all times. Needless to say, many properties make the mistake of valuing style over substance, but BSV is the exception to the rule. This property is all heart and it’s the exemplary service that sets it apart. Amongst those we’d like to thank are Carlo, Simi, Laura and Jonathan, who were super helpful in crafting itineraries. Chef Giulio, Filippo and Frankie wined and dined us to our hearts’ content! We visited BSV in August and it was the jewel in the crown of our two-week trip to Italy! Sandwiched between our stays in Rome and Florence, BSV exceeded our expectations, providing the perfect escape to decompress under the Tuscan sun. It is the little things that make all the difference and from the outset, BSV set the bar high. Even before our arrival, the team were transparent and forthcoming in their communication, instantly putting us at ease. Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted by the lovely owners, Shannon and Scott. As experienced hoteliers with their first property in Anguilla, they are truly invested in providing an exceptional experience and building something very special with BSV. Make no mistake; it may be a four-star property on paper, but offers six-star hospitality with a commitment to personalised service. Every detail has been meticulously curated and considered, creating a luxurious and intimate atmosphere, whilst celebrating its Tuscan roots. We stayed in Room 105, which had a spacious sitting room, kitchenette, walk-in wardrobe and bathroom. The rooms are brand spanking new, evocative of rustic minimalism, yet installed with all the necessary mod-cons. Housekeeping is exceptional - everything was sparkling and they provided whatever we requested, even gifting a bottle of wine for our anniversary celebrations - a wonderful surprise! The BSV corkscrew, wine bottle covers and tasting notes were thoughtful touches, setting the tone for the rest of our stay. BSV is a haven of tranquility and despite our best intentions to explore the area, we didn’t want to leave the property. There is a gorgeous swimming pool where we spent lazy afternoons, cozy library equipped with board games and our favourite spot - the bar where we spent hours sipping bespoke cocktails made by the talented mixologist Filippo. He made the best negronis we've ever had, prompting us to consider whether it was possible to take him back home!

This property is perfection. It is more beautiful than any of the pictures. The staff are incredible and so helpful, the food is delicious, and it's located near so many towns to explore in Tuscany. Do yourself a favor and book it.

AC in the room was not so good and it felt a bit stuffy and hot at night. It feels actually better to open the window but there was mosquitos and bugs in the surrounding so you couldn't really keep the window open for long.

Good location - only <15min drive from Montepulciano and within 1 hour drive to many nearby Tuscan towns. The hotel breakfast and dinner food quality was excellent. We were in love with the omelet served at breakfast every day. The pasta dishes were also very very good (beating many restaurants in the hilltop towns nearby).

e honestly don’t know where to start. Borgo San Vincenzo was absolutely incredible. It was the first stop on our Italian honeymoon and wow was it a good choice. From the amazing staff, to the delicious food (the breakfast oh my goodness!!!), to the gorgeous rooms with such comfy beds, to the incredible wine, to all the activities nearby, to the pool area - it was perfection. The ebikes were a godsend to cycle to Montepulciano (not sure a manual bike could have survived the hills!!) for a gorgeous afternoon. The owners, Shannon and Scott, as well as Lina, Maria and Jonny (among all the other staff) were the kindest people, going above and beyond to check if we needed anything at any time. We were waiting for a FedEx package which got stuck in customs and the staff were amazing (we finally got it in Arezzo just so you know!!). Make sure you’re there for a Thursday night Tuscan BBQ, or a Saturday winemakers supper. Utter perfection and we honestly can’t wait to find an excuse to come back! Hopefully every year for our anniversary?! Special shout out to the arugula and hazelnut pesto pasta on the lunch menu - divine!

Outstanding destination. From the moment we were greeted by the owners with a drink on arrival, we knew we had found a special place to stay. Excellent staff, great pool. We had a simple meal in the pool cabana one night, pizza by the fire pit another and a fabulous in-house BBQ.
