How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

All was perfect
The room was ideal. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean and well appointed and the little terrace was lovely to have. The breakfast was delicious and generous. The position of the apartment was perfect for seeing all of Bosa. There is a wonderful restaurant recommended nearby. The walk to the Castello is both a little challenging and the view from the top exhilarating. There is free parking in the piazza just a few minutes walk form the accommodation. Our welcome was warm and informative. Simone was so helpful and attentive, always with a smile and a passion for his work. The entire staff was wonderful. Grazie Tutti

Bright white lights. I hope they were warm :)
Staff is very welcoming and great. It is our favorite part. Also a great place to stay in Bosa. Quiet yet walking distance to central street/plaza as well to the castle.

It could be more options for gluten free breakfasts.
Phenomenal service by people with positive attitude. Absolutely fantastic view from the terrace. Great design of the hotel. Nice smell in the hotel.

Absolutly fabulous - we got a very warm welcome and we felt like in a first class place. Extremely friendly was everyone at this guest house. 5 stars for every aspect!

There wasn't a single thing that we didn't like. Maybe the only thing is that you need to leave your car in an alley 200m away from the property, but when you're booking a place in the centre of a historical place, you can't expect to have a private parking right next to the property. It was easy to find a free parking spot, it was free and also close. I'm just writing this because I think I need to write something :) No bad things at all!
We loved everything about this place. It was even better than we expected. The property is in a cute little street in the heart of Bosa. Staff was super pleasant and helpful with lots of tips what to see and where to eat. Room was spaceous, very clean and comfy. The rooftoop terrace with a castleview was a cherry on top. This was one of the best stays in Sardinia for sure. Hope we can return one day.

No coffee or tea facilities in room which I think is a welcome touch after a long day on the road.
Friendly and helpful owner and young man who greeted us at reception. The hotel, which is beautifully decorated and well lit, is located in one of the many narrow passages in the old town between the castle and main streets.. As we only stayed one night and had to leave very early the next morning we didn't have breakfast so cannot comment .
