Beautiful location, delicious meals and friendly staff

We booked last minute and couldn't be happier. The property is wonderful, located in the middle of the woods, providing a peaceful and quiet environment. We dined at the on-site restaurant and found it to be perfect value for money; the food exceeded our expectations. Every day there is a different menu, and every plate is delicious (I had the best Pesto of my life). The staff were super friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. - Lighting in the bathrooms need improvement, especially the shower which did not have any direct light - Menu options were a bit restrictive, though menu items did change from night to night

- Nice surroundings, peaceful and tranquil location - Really welcoming personnel - Dinner option made possible by the property, with really good food.

Quite a stoic interior, not particularly making you feel comfortable. Small and very dark room. No tea/coffee facilities or offer from the host on check in to get one . Overall overpriced. One of the rooms had a smell from the bathroom.

It was definitely interesting property. The one of a kind. With clear volcano “print” - volcanic bricks, also ash in the garden. Which is what we wanted. Lounge is very nice with pool table, little bar and a good few chairs and a table for a company to enjoy. Good selection for breakfast. Even egg, ham and cheese. Plenty of parking

Unfortunately not the responsability of the staff but random trash can be found too frequently in the beautiful countryside around the place.

Very nice people in a beautiful location, very reactive to the little things that had to be fixed in the room (broken lamp and broken cupboard door). We went twice at the restaurant and the food was really good, kudos to the chef! Breakfast was also mostly composed of delicious homemade pastries.

It is situated beautifully in an altitude of around 1000 meters above ses level on the side of Mount Etna. The room was fine and the communal facilities ie restaurant, living room and outside terrace were nice. The staff was friendly.

It was a bit isolated, and a car or booked transport is a must, but perhaps that is the point of a property such as this.

Alessandra and her team were friendly and accomodating. The lunch and dinner service were well done, with a selection of local Etna wines that are a delight for the enthusiast, and a revelation to the newcomer.

Extra beds in our room (2 single beds) were not comfortable - mattress is not the same as the queen size bed. The shower is very small.

Beautiful location on the mountain, 25 minutes fro mount Etna. Beautiful building. Cute dogs, very good breakfast (good variety of foods, it will be nice to add some hot dishes - like an omelette). Bed is comfy.

The room style is a little bit outdated. The lighting system in the whole Masseria(including room, restaurant, public area during the evening) needs to be updated. Now it’s very depressing. I believe with different lighting conditions, it will look way more beautiful.

The location is in the middle of Etna mountain, very beautiful in the yard, nice staff, very informative reception, and Excellent FOOD! Especially the bakery!! I had the best croissant here. I finally find the place that can do the proper banana bread!

You can have dinner, and it was very good but a bit expensive. There are not many options around, and will have to take the car in case.

The location is very nice, quiet and with an amazing view (at least from our room). Was too cold to try the swimming pool but it looked very nice.

Staff were outstanding as well served breakfast and dinner was absolutely delicious. Being away from the crowds in the nature below the Etna was just amazing and it was worth the driving while property is a bit distant from Catania. Overall experience was unique.

Lacks maintenance , with a slight effort in maintenance to replace broken items inside the rooms and add a few plants around the common areas the place would look much more welcoming.
