Everything exceed my expectations! Iris is helpful, charming, and she was always available. You can feel that she is doing it with her heart. The apartment was more equipped than my own flat. She thought of everything. It was clean and prepared, we also received presents and many useful informations and tips. If once I come again to the cinque terre, I’m going to come only to her. Highly recommended! 💯

I did have to move my son in bed with my husband and I slept on the bottom bunkbed (which was comfortable) because there was a noise on the master bedroom wall (we could not identify) that kept only me up :(

The communication with our host Iris and all the little gifts were a welcome surprise. We enjoyed the bubbly wine and limoncello. The kids loved the bunkbeds and porch. It was a 5min winding walk up and down, but not exhausting. It was close to restaurants, groceries, the beach.

I’m not into this type of rental normally, as I like to be on vacation and not do any work. This was an easy stay with everything laid out in a fool proof way. She also did lot a of little thoughtful things.

There was only one small thing we didn't like which was that some sound seemed to travel within the building, so on our first evening we could hear children running around a lot upstairs. This issue is probably to be expected in an apartment block and certainly didn't spoil our stay.

The apartment was light and airy and was great for the two of us. It had shutters all round to keep the sun & light out. The kitchen was really well equipped and the owner left some nice treats for us. We were met by the lovely owner Iris on our arrival and given lots of information and recommendations, and a pack was left with us. The apartment location suited us really well as it's just up from the seafront, a short walk from the station, and close to a small supermarket, an excellent bakery and restaurants. The apartment was very clean and felt secure due to an alarm system. As per the photos it has a view of the sea (between buildings) and a nice open outlook from the side due to its raised location. We really felt at home during our stay here and would happily stay again. Thank you Iris for providing this lovely accommodation.

The steps to the apartment were annoying but we were made aware of this in advance. Also, there are steps to everything in Cinque Terra so this apartment is not the only one with steps!!!

From checkin to checkout, the whole stay was perfect. Iris met with us to give us the keys and explained so much about the area, tours and provided links to a number of helpful websites. The apartment was so beautiful and better equipped than my own house! The beds were comfy and all rooms were so clean. Iris was a great support during our stay. Monterosso is the best town to stay in. Old town Monterosso is the nicest place for food and drinks. If you need supplies, I would suggest travelling to Levanto as there is very little choice in the Cinque Terra towns. But that’s what’s great about them, they are so unique!

It is a bit of a climb but worth the effort. Not much else to criticize, well appointed, roomy, nice view, lots of treats left for.

It was a bit tricky to find but our host was in regular contact and actually came to meet us when we arrived by train. Iris gave lots of good advice and suggestions.

Nice large apartment with beautiful views. After traveling for two weeks with my spouse, this apartment gave us plenty of space to relax and not be right on top of each other. Enjoyed waking up and drinking coffee on the balcony overlooking the water.

There was nothing not to like.

Iris is an outstanding host. She kindly met us at the railway station and walked us to the apartment which is about a 10-minute walk away. The unit is beautiful and Iris has thought of the smallest detail to make visitors comfortable. From a welcome bottle of wine, to teabags, coffee capsules, beach towels and much more. She organized our laundry for 10 Euro a load (big), gave us information about the beautiful walks, ferries and restaurants. I will definitely stay here again if I can. I also love how she supports recycling.

To get to the apartment you need to climb a fair amount of stairs. So if you are not arriving by car and have several suitcases, you need to get a cab from the train station. Otherwise, train station is about a 10 minute walk to the apartment. The apartment is a five minute walk down the stairs to get to the beach, restaurants and markets, which is fine in the day but at night most of the lamp posts illuminating the stairs were out, so it was a bit treacherous in the pitch black. The welcoming treats were nice, but we did not feel like the host was very accommodating. That could have been due to the fact that it was late in the season.

The host left wine, cookies and homemade limoncello. The property was decorated nicely and had a good coffee maker.
