I did not like that the air conditioning cut off between midnight and 7:00 am.

I absolutely loved the history of the hotel and the size of the room. The friendliness of the staff was superb.The location was fantastic.

The hotel is perfectly located in a shopping area, close to major sites and a few steps away from the old city. Staying at the Bristol hotel which is in perfect condition is entering in a glamorous past which was replaced by modern hotels lacking soul regardless of their expensive decoration. Do not use the elevator because the stair case is simply mind blowing. We stayed on the fifth flour and we just could not stop admiring every detail of this amazing building.

parking was a problem but not unusual for city centre, the car park was full so we had to park off site. The breakfast was a bit pricey for a buffet and we were charged for a second cup of coffee.

Where to start. The building is beautiful. We were given an upgrade to a suite which was a massive room with two double beds, and four arm chairs. Separate bathroom. The evening meal was excellent, we sat out on the terrace and had drinks after in the bar. The barman was very friendly and informative.

Room was close to dinning area. Got woken at 6:30 every morning by doors squeezing and trolleys moving. Advised desk on departing

Gracious hotel, elegant like the great hotels of earlier times. Wonderful doorman. Housekeeping was wonderful. Elegant dining in a grand dining room. Like the Grand hotels of thwe early 20th century.

Pillows were quite unconfortable, there's a lot of noise from outside but mostly from inside (old doors with a lot of space between the floor and them).

I don't understand why I wasn't able to use the AC to lower the room temperature in such a fine hotel. The explanation was that the whole hotel was still in winter mode and no cooling was available. The room was hot and couldn't sleep well.

Very nice and well located hotel, just a short distance to the major attractions. Friendly staff, very good breakfast. We even tried the Giotto restaurant for dinner, great food with a local taste, fairly priced. The room was very spacious and comfortable. We loved the valet parking, even though there is a parking lot not to far from the hotel.

Although the hotel lobby shouts luxury as soon as you enter in the room it vanishes. Furnished is old in a ok shape. Nowadays most hotels offer at least water, in this one you need to pay anything (water, tea, coffee) at ridiculous prices

All the staff I came across were super friendly. Breakfast is great. They told me where to park in advance 1 min walking. I was lucky to stay in the 6th floor but lower floors may struggle with street noise.

Upholstery on sofa in our room was stained. Coffee at breakfast was terrible. Long life milk was used rather than fresh. pastries and croissants were pre-packaged, not fresh.

Slow check-in and check-out, long lines. Air conditioning not available even though it is listed as an amenity. Had to keep the windows open to stay cool and the street outside is VERY LOUD. Needed earplugs to sleep. Please don't advertise air conditioning as an amenity unless it is available year round and the guest has control of the temperature.

Beautiful hotel. Bathrobes, slippers, luxury amenities. Close to Metro.
