It's a very old hotel, please don't expect too much. But it serves the purpose. If you need to train, do it outside walking, running.

The view was fantastic.. and so spectacular. Breakfast was good.. and restaurant and reception staff was friendly.

The lift to hotel sometimes doesnt work well. Refrigerator not cool enough. Ideal if there is shuttle bus from railway station to hotel

Excellent sea view that can see Mount Etna. Very close to Isola Bella and coach stop to other cities. Hotel in classic style but clean and fit our needs.

Breakfast is ample (breakfast buffet) but the coffee could improve.

Top located hotel, in front of the botanical garden, with a wonderful view from the room balcony on the bay and the Etna. The rooms are well sized, with comfortable wide beds. We had a family room with connecting doors, which served us perfectly. Bathrooms modern, luxurious and clean. We were warmly welcomed by the lady at reception, all staff were very friendly.

The building has seen better days, and cleaning can be improved (corners were full of stuff). Nice they have a "gym" but it's missing some WD-40

Amazing view to the sea and to Enta. Definitely recommend room with view to the sea/mount Etna! Excellent location, quiet but central.

Old fashioned rooms and simple breakfast but views were unbeteable and the staff was very attentive

The location was awesome, just few minutes from the main monuments and key restaurants. They were also very kind to help us with the parking which is a must to have if you are going to stay at least one night...

The hotel is old and needs renovation. Breakfast was basic.

Hotel is a little dated. It could use a facelift…but then it would or at least should charge a lot more.

View was out of this world and so was the staff they were friendly, kind, generous in that they went out of their way to accommodate me in every way. The rooms were clean and they did a great job of straitening out every day. The front desk/concierge made good recommendations, turned on the sauna late at night for me and was generally kind and considerate. Many rooms have well positioned balconies. Amazing to wake up with view out the window and then to sit on balcony read or work. Location is also very good. It is accross from the beautiful gardens. Which you can walk through to get to the main old town walking street

Location is good with beautiful sea views , near to the old city, gardens and amphitheater. There is also a covered car park.

Annoying to come back after a day sightseeing to find no seats by the pool because the ones that were not occupied were being 'reserved' by a towel

The room especialy 3. Bed was dirty. On a furniture was dust. Brekfast was good. Just omelete which they gave me was Burnt

Very, very dated decor.

The location was absolutely breathtaking!! Take my advice and ask for a room with a sea view. We had a family executive room and there was one bedroom and a fold out sofa bed in the other (sitting?) room. Not quite what we expected, but ok. Bathroom was through the sitting room.
