There is no elevator and the shower is quite small.

Paolo was an amazing host, always available and extremely friendly. We really felt taken care off. The location is excellent. It's in the heart of the city and close to everything.

Everything was totally appropriate for the standard of hotel.

A lift would have been helpful for old lady like me--there were 2 flight s of steep stairs to reach the rooms. I could not get the t.v. to work. there was a mini fridge but nothing in it! Toiletries were only just adequate for the price we paid!Best

good location for the city in fairly quiet backstreet. Handy too for excellent restaurants. Friendly owner.

My neighbours were talking to each other at their doors, and it was really loud. There are however several signs at the hotel asking guests to be quiet, so I guess some travellers just don't get it :)

Great location, clean room and all other areas, strong air conditioner, very friendly host. I was also able to leave my suitcase at the hotel for some hours after I checked out, which was really helpful. Overall -- exceptional value for money.

The location was perfect! So close to Piazza Maggiore, which is basically the heart of Bologna. Everything we wanted to do was within 15 min walk distance.

The hotel location could not be better. It is less than 5 minutes walk from the historic centre. The check in process is very easy - they send you an access code to the hotel, and if nobody is on reception, the key is left for you to collect. Reception is manned until about 4pm. The people in the hotel are very friendly - Paulo is such a nice guy. The room in very clean, and the aircon works well. There is a refrigerator in the room. The bathroom is clean. Two things for travellers to know would be there is not an elevator that I saw - not an issue for us, but I imagine others could have a problem, and the hotel does not offer breakfast - again not an issue as there are plenty of places on your doorstep to visit.

great location, clean and perfect for a short stay. Using Whstsapp messages worked well as I arrived in the evening. Paulo in the back office was incredibly helpful and welcoming. And I could leave my backpack there after checkout to sightsee before walking to the train station

Window without a view and no breakfast. However, in Bologna it is very easy to get a breakfast almost on every corner of the street.

No elevator to get you to the third floor after long exhausting walks exploring the city :) I would ask for a room at the first floor next time 😉

Fridge was not clean on Check in and only just cooled. Everything else was great.

The best thing about this hotel was the location, in a quiet back street 5mins walk from the Main Plazza. The room was a clean, a good size and quiet. The bed was very comfy. There are many cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Paulo was friendly and gave us some flexibility with the check out time, which was very helpful. I would recommend this hotel again.
