A wonderful place, and Antonella is the best host. She provided wine on arrival, and delicious breakfasts, and all sorts of good suggestions for our stay. The wine tasting and tour was fascinating, and the location is amazing, an easy drive to Certaldo and San Gimignano.

Antonella and her staff couldn't do enough for me. Very warm people, and certainly know how to welcome and look after travellers. Had 3 glasses of wine within an hour of arrival as others were doing a tasting. Was also offered bottles to take to the room. Breakfast was an enormous selection of options. She even did my laundry (not officially part of the service), as I'm travelling for 6 weeks around EU You do need a car to get to this lovely winery/ B&B. Highly recommended.

Everything was absolutely perfect! They have the most friendly staff who eagerly greet you with a bottle of wine, snacks & tells you to "relax now". The view from the rooms are stunning & they have an excellent breakfast and response time to requests. It was one of our most special and authentic stays in Italy with a private tour of the winery and wine tasting.

Driving back at night, it gets rather dark so you have to watch carefully.

The location and the friendliness of the staff was excellent. The view of the Tuscan valley from the terras was amazing, you can also walk straight into the wine fields and taste the different grapes. But the lovely people running the location were the best.

Never have we been welcomed this warm! Antonella is the most friendly host we've ever had. Breakfast every morning was perfect, everything was very clean and they make their own vino on the mountain! Very beautiful view over the valley and interesting places like Florence, Pisa, San Gimignano, ... are not far away.

Flexible with our check-in hour, Antonella welcomed us warmly and with glass of cold white wine and some snacks. She also offered us free wine tour next day after breakfast which was great! The accommodation is spacious, perfectly clean and very comfortable. Antonella served us nice breakfast and was very attentive all the time. Maybe the best thing is the nature around the house and possibility to enjoy it on the terrace. It was a great stay and it looks even better than in the photos!

The air conditioning in the room could have been a bit stronger but we were happy rhat ot worked at all.

The property is updated and surrounded by beautiful Tuscan hillsides and wineries. Antonella, our hostess, was wonderful, very accommodating and greeted us with a smile each time we saw her.

Wonderful place, nice and super clean room, amazing views!! Delicious breakfast, in a cosy family room with a large table, where we got to connect with the other guests. Above all, Antonella and Eleonora, the heart of Capanna 1826, were the most amazing hosts!!! We recommend it without any hesitation and will be back for sure!!

Beautiful location and garden with far-reaching views, plus easy drive into San Gimignano. Very friendly welcome, lovely room with comfortable bed and good size bathroom, and a great breakfast with excellent coffee! Particularly enjoyed the informal but highly informative wine tour and tastings.

A very tranquil B & B with panoramic views of the San Gimignano countryside. Antonella was the perfect host who made sure we had a wonderful stay and even went out of her way to ensure my sister had gluten free bread and sweets as part of the very generous breakfast provided. We also received a complimentary glass of vernaccia wine , which they produce at the winery , adjacent to the B & B. Elenora went through the various wines the family produces and we also got 10% off the wine as we were staying at the winery. It was very difficult to decide which wines to buy as they are great quality and very reasonably priced , but our luggage is already heavy and we’re moving around a lot.

Тhe place is wonderful, the view is great. Quiet, cozy and endlessly green. We were welcomed with a cold drink and a glass of local white wine. The hosts are wonderful and very hospitable. The breakfast was tasty and varied. They organized for us a wine tour with a visit to the vineyards, to the family winery, which ended with wine testing and digestif. On leaving, of course, we bought our preferred selection of wines. If we go back there again at any cost we will visit them again.
