The location was amazing, very walkable. Vittoria (the host) was fantastic! She waited for us to arrive (we were later than anticipated), helped with the parking, stocked the property with some basics and treats to get us started and provided a very warm welcome. And the view from the small balcony in the main bedroom was incredible! Vittoria offered a reco for the restaurant right beside us and our family enjoyed a lovely evening meal there. Thanks Vittoria for a lovely stay!

The property was in the best location, on the ‘Piano’ near the main square, but just off the main drag in a quiet side street with a spectacular view of the Sassi. It was also newly renovated and modern, well appointed and comfortable.

The only comment I could say is that the bathroom had a really strong peach flavoured diffuser and it was a bit overpowering for the space.

Amazing location! Amazing view! Absolutely lovely family met us at a nearby car park and assisted us to the accomodation. They provided us some traditional treats and bread, which was so kind. Cannot stress enough how perfect the location was, right next to the beautiful Sassi and the restaurants and buzz of the city. The place had plenty of ammenities and everything we needed. Thankyou for an amazing stay!

Casa Adelina is such gem. Thank you so much to Vittoria & her son Gianluca for making our stay a memorable one. Fantastic location, all amenities are tip top and the views from its balcony are just dreamy. We are already planning to come again to Matera and have decided to stay at Casa Adelina again.

Nothing, it was perfect

Absolutely loved it, and are so glad we chose Casa Adelina. The location is perfect, with all around views of the Sassi and the Cathedral so you really feel part of the characteristic old town. But at the same time you are also close to the elegant walkways, restaurants, shops, Via del Corso (the main street), and (also the parking!) of the “new” town. We really loved the views and looking out over the Sassi from the balcony, witnessing the changing colours in the different lights. The apartment is so comfortable, very modern and very well equipped and they have thought of everything to make it comfortable. Thank you so much to Vittoria who made such a difference to our stay, such a lovely and such a kind hostess. Check in was very easy, she helped us with many things and even posted back some t shirts I left behind in a drawer! We had two nights in Casa Adelina but had underestimated how much there was to see in Matera and wish we had had longer.

Everything was great.

The 50 sq m space was perfectly designed, including the views! Everything is there but there’s never a feeling that it’s overcrowded. Really comfy beds, great bathroom with excellent shower, fabulous kitchen, air conditioning and heating. There’s also Alexa, which/who is good fun and very useful for controlling the lights, playing any music you like and helping with translations! Couldn’t find a corkscrew, though, so I had to go to a nearby restaurant, which funnily enough turned out to be quite a discovery:) Vittoria is a lovely, genuine person. The location is perfect, at the start of the Sassi with a view overlooking the Sassi Barisano up to the Cathedral, but close to the attractive old town centre with the main square and beautiful, wide, pedestrian street with old churches and innumerable cafés. No hesitation in recommending this place and would definitely return!

Absolutely everything - location and cleanliness of the property was great, and the view of the Sassi from the rooms was just spectacular! Host was very welcoming - helped us book parking nearby as well as restaurant reservations; and even had excellent supply of everything (juices, water, multiple coffee options, biscuits, chips, snacks)! One of the beds was up a circular set of stairs so if there's mobility issues, that may be difficult (but the other bedroom was spacious and downstairs). Definitely one of the best places I've stayed and would definitely stay again!!

Perfect apartment

The apartment is well equipped with everything you need and very clean. The view of the Sassi is fantastic. The position is ideal to go to every direction very fast. Also there is a paid closed underground parking within 200meters. Is what you need in order not to drag your suitcases up and down in Sassi. Vittoria the owner was willing to help with everything we needed and made our stay exceptional! Thanks a lot

No parking available nearby as this is Old Town Matera. However, the Owner offered help with free parking outside the restricted area, so basically no issue.

Casa Adelina is absolutely stunning! Super comfy, spacious with a fully equipped kitchen and an amazing view. It's located in a heart of Sassi, yet very quiet and private. Walking distance to all corners of the old town. All house equipment is brand new and it's simply glowing. We absolutely loved it!

That was an incredibly stay! Quite beyond our expectancy! Just amazing, modern and spacious apartment. The owner took care of us that we could feel really unbelievably :) The kitchen was very well equipped with all you need. Italian sufficient and tasty breakfast. On top of that, the apartments could not be located better! Spectacular view from the bedroom's balcony!!!!! Wonderful!

the best stay of ours in Italy. This apartment is located in a beautiful ZTL in Matera. Stunning views of the city. The host is extremely welcoming and nice. She helped us settle in and showed us all the essential amenities of the area. The apartment is modern and really comfortable. A must stay in Matera. Will come back! :D
