How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The owner/host was very friendly and helpful. I requested a shuttle to the airport, they were prompt and on-time. Nice large room, a nice private bathroom and a comfortable bed.

Because of our early flight, we couldn’t sample their breakfast.
This B&B is near Malpensa airport and offers a shuttle service, even very early in the morning. The owner even met us at the Ferno train station when we arrived. There is a restaurant a few blocks away for dinner.

The owners did an amazing job of renovating this property - our room was fantastic. And the owners couldn’t be nicer and friendlier. This is a quiet area - perfect for a stay before going to the airport (and the owner can give you a ride there).

Nothing to complain about, it was perfect for our stay.
We booked for 1 night due to proximity to the airport, but I wish we could stay a couple more days. The hosts were wonderful, it is a family-run hotel that is very hospitable; hotel room very comfortable, location perfect for Malpensa airport. And the restaurant recommendation was excellent!

The apartment was wonderful. So beautiful, spacious, cosy and modern. Check in was smooth and the staff is warm and welcoming. They will also recommend you a restaurant and organise shuttle to airport which was very convenient. The Ferno is small town with many bars and restaurants very close to Malpensa airport. I recommend Casa Ananda for 100%

It is perfect for overnight & more if you have a car. We did not feel comfortable venturing out at night on foot on our own.
Beautiful property, comfortable beds, close to train, friendly hosts, nice breakfast and short ride to Malpensa Airport.

Everything was great!
Casa Ananda is a superb facility and the host couple are very friendly and helpful. We had a splendid breakfast and a shuttle service to the airport.

Narrow stairs and no lift so difficult to handle things if you are traveling with a lot of luggage.
Home away from home. Very clean and functional. Every little detail has been taken care of.

No complaints at all
The location is 5 minutes from the train station. The property is beautiful inside and outside. The owners were so welcoming and thoughtful. Our room was beautiful, beds were comfortable, bathroom is huge with great towels and toiletries. We had to leave early for the airport but they made sure we had food to take along. There is also a shuttle for transportation to the airport. It’s obvious the owners (wish I could remember their names) take pride in their business. Thank you, Casa Ananda!

Our experience at Casa Ananda was exceptional. Andrea & Antonella are lovely, kind & generous hosts. The position is ideal & a stress free way to arrive at Malpensa. It is also a good base to visit Milan, Como & Lake Maggiore. The rooms are large, comfortable & spotlessly clean. Breakfast is healthy & delicious! We loved meeting the resident dogs & enjoyed our two night stay very much. Thank you Andrea & Antonella. We will be back!

Everything was perfect. There was nothing I didn’t like.
The location is perfect. We rented the family room and it was super spacious and had the largest bathroom I’ve ever used. The breakfast was outstanding with lots to choose from - even fresh squeezed orange juice. Andrea at Casa Ananda was such a terrific host. She really went the extra mile to be sure we had everything we needed. She picked us up from the Ferno train station and transported us to the airport the next morning. Definitely, definitely recommend!

Everything! Spacious, stylish, well designed , extremely comfortable bed and very near the airport. Andrea and his wife went above and beyond helping my daughter who studies in Milan to catch her train safely after meeting me; driving us both to the local station and ensuring she got safely on her train at night then driving me back to the guesthouse. Such Kind and generous hosts.

Andrea has a policy of not using the room air conditioning before May/June. During April, afternoons in Italy do get quite warm. So you need to open the windows to cool the room in the early evening. Unfortunately the windows don't have screens in Italy or Europe in general unlike in the States. So there is the tendency for insects to get into the room. However, in our case, we did not have any problems with bugs.
The room that I got was very spacious. The ensuite bathroom was huge. It was a very relaxing and great place to rest after a long flight into Malpensa. The owner and host Andrea was able to accomodate our request to be picked up from the airport. He and his wife, Antonella also arranged a private transfer for us to Milan the following day.

Casa Anada was the best way to wrap up my Italian experience. Very modern. High tech B&B. Hosts were very helpful, kind and generous. The entire place is set up in fantastic way and breakfast was great as well! Very close to the MXP airport!! I’d stay here again no question asked.

Upon arrival Andrea came out with an umbrella before we had even got out of the car. Now that’s service!! The property is exceptionally clean and very tastefully decorated. There’s a lovely pizza restaurant close by and the location is so convenient to Malpensa. Great value.

Our host, Antonela, was most warm and gracious. The room was spacious, clean, and the floors were heated. (Very nice to have in March) The bed mattress was perfect for us.

The owners were so warm and welcoming, the hotel was a short walk from the train station and the area felt safe even as a solo female walking in the evening, and the room was beautiful, comfortable, and very clean. Breakfast exceeded expectations! Would definitely stay again :D
