Attributing to the fact that the house is probably 100+ years old, the water pressure is extremely low and tends to fluctuate probably depending on whether anyone else in the building is using it. So if it is important for you to take your shower every morning and you are not willing to spend 20+ minutes doing that, then you are likely going to find this place challenging.

The location really is the absolute highlight of this property. Situated conveniently within the old town, only a short walking distance from anything you could ever dream of - restaurants, shopping, boat harbour - this is the best place to explore and enjoy Como. However, since the house is situated on a quiet street (no bars within at least 100m) and inside the yard, you can easily sleep with all the windows open, since there is absolutely no noise - we didn't even hear the church bells ringing! The peace and quiet is something that we appreciated very very much and which is also something that is not at all common in such locations. The apartment itself is very roomy, gets a lot of natural light and is really cosy and pleasant.

We did not realize when we booked that there is no elevator.our room is on 3rd floor then we have to struggle to bring our luggage to the 3rd floor.it was quite exhausting

The patisserie downstairs makes the most delicious yummy things and we ate far too many of them!! We told ourselves that the 6 flights of stairs up to the apartment justified that self indulgence because we 'needed' the energy! 😄

The location is in the heart of the restricted historic area and walkable from the train station. We couldn't have asked for a better location. One of the best we have stayed in over the years.

The fact that the apartment is on the top floor and there is no lift complicates things for people who do not travel light. Fortunately, Maria's son was very helpful with the luggage. Also, it felt strange that we were asked to make a deposit at check in but we received it back when checking out.

Great location in the old part of town, close to tourist attractions and good restaurants, but still very quiet for good rest. Spatious, comfortable, clean and well equipped apartment. Maria's attention to details is key to the comfort you feel inside, as everything is well taken care of and good quality, from the kitchen to the bedroom and the bathroom.

Excellent location, right in the old town next to all the restaurants, shops and sights. The lake is just 10 minutes easy walk away. The host and her family were really nice and welcomed us even outside the usual check in and out times. Communication between us and the owner was quick and nice. The apartment was very quite (to mention we were here during off season). The bed, couch, kitchen and furniture were all modern and quite new. We certainly will come back.

Well, as an amputee, walking up three flights of stairs was a challenge.

Great location in the middle of the older part of Como. Very convenient to cafes and shops. Maria was wonderful and very helpful with our luggage and recommendations for local dining. When we left Maria and her sone were again very helpful.
