it’s a fantastic location. Near the water taxi stop and the biennale. as well as in a hub of food and shops. and right on an intersection of canals.

The bathroom and toilets are shared but they are very clean!

Although there was a technical issue with booking.com that the messaging function was not working and we had trouble with checking in, Paolo was very understanding and helpful. The room is spacious is clean, and the view of the lagoon is amazing. The location is close to the boat station, also it's not located in crowded touristic areas which was a plus for us.

The only downside to this hotel is the lack of air conditioning. Other than that it was fantastic!

We booked this hotel last minute on one of the busiest weekends in Venice. The hotel was fantastically priced and very clean and close to amenities. Bottled water was provided and the experience here was fantastic.

Such a kind and lovely host!!! Room was comfortable, there was a sink so we could wash hands or brush teeth without leaving the room, no ac but there was a fan. There was a set of snack and pastries. Common toilet and room was very clean. There was a lovely cafe and restaurant nearby, supermarket (around 6 mins), 15 min walk to piazza San Marco. This guest house is a gem in venice

Excellent location in the heart of Venice Five minutes walk from Arsenale boat stop. Boat takes you to anywhere in Venice One hour boat ride to Railway station and Coach Station. Easy walk to San Marco and Academia. Accommodation on first floor via staircase Shared bathroom. Kettle in room with tea, coffee, juices, and pre packed sweet pastry; jams; pre packed toast. There are no communal rooms. The hosts are efficient and welcoming.

It does get a bit noisy early in the morning with boats sailing by.

Paolo is an incredibly nice host and made our stay very comfortable. Paolo let us keep our luggage in the property the following day after our checkout. This property is located very close to the vaporetto stops (literally 1-2 mins walk away) as well as about 15-20 mins walk to St Marks square. The lagoon is right outside the property - we couldn’t ask for a better location. Property is very tidy and the shared washrooms were immaculately clean.

No airco in the room. We were in Venice in beginning of July and it was +30° outside and minimum of 25°. Since there is no airco in the room, it meant it was also quite hot insde the room. Also it is quite noisy outside if you leave windows open during the night. We could cool down with the provided fan, but so if you have trouble sleeping in warm/noisy environment and you are planning a trip to Venice in July/Augustus you should keep this in mind.

The host was really helpfull and friendly. The possibility to leave our bags/come outside the check in hours with code. The location is magnificent. Room is very big. Price/quality is very nice for Venice.

Very poorly soundproofed rooms. You can hear every exit and entry from the room at the corridor. I recommend having earplugs with you if you want to sleep well.

Great location, close to the vaporetto stop. The building is right on the canal. Helpful host. Everything you need in the room.

The place is in very nice disrtict of Venice - Arsenal. The window of room looks on a channel. The room and all spacws are very clean. Very good and fast communication with property owners. The street closed to an apartment is full of good restaurants, shops and cafes. Giardini of Venice is 2 min walk. I recommend this place for staying in Venice.

What a quirky charming house! It was in the perfect location - few minutes walk to all the main spots in Venice and the ferry port. Our room had a window overlooking the canal, which was super cute. We were only in Venice for a day and felt this place was great for it! We shared bathrooms, but they were always clean when we used them. We were greeted warmly by the host, who made sure we were looked after. If you’re in Venice for a short time and after a central budget stay - I highly recommend!

The guest house is very clean, quite, in the best place of Venice - on the very coast of the woderful lagoona and very close to the main places of sightseeing. Personnel is very polite and friendly. Communication is very good. Vaporetto station is in a walking distance of two minutes. And you can go everywhere you wish from there. Our room was not small, beds very comfortable. They even gave us possibility to make breakfast in the room, - we got a cattle , coffee, tea, sugar, biscuits, cups, glasses, though breakfast was not included separately in the room price. If I ever come back to Venice (I wish already), I would really like to stay again in the guest house Casa Favaretto. I highly recommend it to all my friends! Thank you Mr. Paolo and all the personnel of this guest house!

Casa Favaretto has the best location in Venice. Casa Favaretto also has the best host in Venice. Paolo is such a gentleman. He is friendly, accommodating, helpful and goes out of his way to make his guests feel welcome. Casa Favaretto is located on the Grand Canal looking out at San Giorgio, 8 minutes walk to St Mark’s Square and 2 mins to the vaporetto stop, which brings you to all the important locations, including, the airport, the railway station, Murano, Burano, Lido, etc. The house is super clean, with lots of space. The beds beds very comfortable. Paolo even had a kettle with tea and coffee making facilities in the room, with a complimentary breakfast ( which he does not advertise ). We also had the use of a fridge to store food etc. The bathroom was spacious and super clean. Paolo obviously takes pride in his accommodation. We thought it was just the best! We would highly recommend Casa Favaretto .

One of the most wonderful place I lived specially for the location. You can easily spend one day just to stay at this beautiful place and watch the whole beach in front of you. Very vibrant surrounding and once I opened the window the whole sea is front of me and a canal just brushing through down of my window. The staff is nice. And they let us know about the passcode and details to check-in. We can put our luggage and picked them up later even after checking out.
