Not much to say... The shower very small and lacking power in water. Had a lot of insects inside, but that is to expect in the countryside. Had a lot of mosquito bite... Just to warn you 😉

How can I start... The little village Poggio is well located and so small and wonderful. The view from the garden and terrace is spectacular. You can see Florence in a distance. Only like 20 min. to Florence. The villa is old fashioned but comfortable The Wi-Fi works great. Good parking with locked door. Cooking facilties with gas work great. The location to wine tasting and food tasting is very good. And so much fun to drive around in the countryside in Tuscany. The communication with Andrea was at its best, quick to answer and alway with good tips. We were sorry we didn't get to meet him/her, don't even know the gender 😁 we got a gift, red wine and olive oil home made.. Loving it. Fabulous stay for the money..

So happy to find this one, it is a little gem. We stayed in the ground floor - one bedroom apartment with its own secluded area outside .The property has been in the family for at least three generations and is full of character and family history. The kitchen was a dream come true for every woman who like to cook, well equipped with character and looks of an old working farm house kitchen. It was pleasure to cook and dine there. Very romantic. The view is splendid . The location pretty much ideal, Florence and the beautiful Tuscan countryside,with wine tasting and small villages is only a short distance away. It was a pleasure to meet Andrea our host. He is himself a little treasure ! He was all that one could ask for and more. He made us feel at ease. Everything was done to make our time spent there as stressless as possible. The little information guide created for guests was invaluable. The directions to cheapest parcheggio in Florence were the winner for us. The guide also has a wonderful story concerning the family and to the properties history which made you feel part of the atmosphere. WI-FI was excellent!! Don’t forget to sample the wine from Andrea grandfather’s winery - simply delicious !

Casa da Pietro is the best vacation place we found in Toscana. Old but very well maintained and fully equipped house. The panoramic view to the hills and Florence is just amazing - we enjoyed the sunset with a glass of wine. Our host Andrea was so welcoming and polite and gave us lots of advice making our stay even better. Thank you very much!

We were staying at Andrea's place last week and we absolutely loved the apartment! It's spacious and full of Tuscan flair with its traditional country decor and local architectural details. The beamed ceilings, terracotta floors and brick arches connecting the open living/ dining room make it all very welcoming. The fully equipped kitchen looked so inviting that we couldn't resist making our own version of Italian dinner : ) We were very lucky with the weather and were able to enjoy a nice cup of tea every morning on the beautifully maintained garden and terraces with different kinds of herbs and roses which emit their wonderful fragrance. And of course we did our best to follow the local tradition of taking a siesta on the terrace to soak up the sun! ^_^ Surely we didn't miss any chance of enjoying the stunning view over the valley, the mountains and the amazing sunset. Not only did we enjoy our own cooking, but we also joined the locals and appreciated the taste of the lovely restaurant which is just 5 minute walk away. But all of this would be nothing without Andrea's great hospitality. He was attentive and always available whenever we needed him. He gave us very useful information for hiking in the surrounding areas and some tips for visiting Florence. For people who rather want to have a quiet and relaxing stay after the hustle and bustle in big cities, Andrea's fabulous Tuscan home in this lovely village surrounded by hillsides of vineyards and olive trees is definitely the perfect choice! *\^o^/*

In rainy days that we had there, it was a bit cold in the apartment, and even though it has its own heating, it still was a bit cold in the apartment. It might just be our misuse of the thermostat :)

The host waited for us and was really helpful in providing a lot of information about the nearby attractions. The apartment is spacious and well equipped with everything you need. The view from the garden is spectacular.

Nothing bad really, one day we only had some trouble with the shower, but it was quickly fixed.

We loved the view from the garden, we could sit in the garden and enjoy the sunset while overlooking Florence in the distance. The apartment was good and comfortable! And the hosts were very attentive!

We enjoyed our stay a lot. The apartment and the house are marvellous, the location is exceptional. The hosts, Fulvio and Andrea, are extremely hospitable and kind people. We plan to return soon again!
