How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Honestly nothing, just book it!
This is an extremely nice place to stay. We were upgraded for free to a big room with a kitchen. The gardens and surroundings are absolutely stunning, and the pools are a huge bonus. It's a little far from the beach (maybe 10-15 minute walk), but you can easily get the bus (which is how we got around and they come every 10/15 minutes) or rent a scooter. The beach is one of the nicest beaches we had been too! The family who runs the hotel are extremely friendly, and the dinners in the hotel are very affordable and delicious. I'm celiac and they made every meal gluten free no problem!

everything was perfect
We felt very welcomed, Michele and his wife are the best hosts. The accommodation was in a beautiful place with nice views, very quiet and spacious. Definitely recommend.

This is a real gem. Family run with warm welcome. The staff, facilities, atmosphere and location are perfect. Friendly reception, great breakfast, lovely view from our room. Lush garden with plenty of sun-beds. Warm swimming pool and thermal bath - all very relaxing. We loved it.

Everything about this hotel was amazing! we felt so welcomed and taken care of. The rooms was super clean and provided cleaning everyday and changed towels on daily basis. The breakfast and dinner was also excellent!!!

that I had to leave!
Beautiful hotel, extremely clean, wonderful and helpful staff, tasty breakfast and dinner was the most amazing meal I had the whole trip! Right next to the bus stop and short walk away from Sant Angelo - I enjoyed the quiet location. tutto bene!

The breakfast was great; plenty of options, everything was fresh. The staff came from time to time to check if we had something else needed. The room was cleaned every day, so no complaints there :) There is a bus stop close by, that was handy as we used bus to move around the island.

BIG THANKS to everyone in Casa Giuseppina for an absolutely amazing and relaxing stay! We felt like highly valued family members, all our needs were solved (even anticipated :)). We had a nice, clean comfortable room with the heating on (mid-April). The food was great - good variety for breakfast (lots of fresh fruit and a nice surprise for Easter :)) and fantastic dinners. And the best part - hot thermal pool! Location is also convenient, right on the bus stop (lines CD, CS and 1) and a just few minutes walk to S.Angelo. We hope to be back soon!

Fantastic family-run hotel! The owners and staff were absolutely lovely and always very helpful. The rooms were comfortable and the food was delicious. Good location too - less than a 10 minute walk to the closest beach around 15-20 minutes to Sant Angelo. Highly recommend staying here!

WiFi was not working.
The staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful and it made our stay so much better. Don't miss out on trying the fresh fruit grown in the hotel's garden! Extremely clean and great service.

When I booked I thought it was closer to Sant Angelo, but it is quite a long walk. You also need to walk about 25 minutes to get to a supermarket, so you need to plan your day well. I got the feeling that most people had dinner at the hotel, but if you want to get around and explore other places, and dont have a car, you need to walk quite a bit.
The owners and staff were super helpful and took really good care of me. The view from the room was amazing. The room was clean and I loved the mosquito net facing the balcony. That's a nice feature that more hotels should incorporate. Also it was actually possible to get scrambled eggs for breakfast which is a rare thing in Ischia (at least at the places I stayed).

We felt little “ out of place”, since it seemed like it was mostly occupied by people which already knew each other. So somehow familiar feeling, but strange when you are not a part of it.
Its a nice family run business. We enjoyed the big room, proximity to see and nice breakfast. Also swimming pool with warm thermal water was enjoyable and relaxing
