Delightful quirky, elegant, old hotel near the centre of Florence. Easy 10/15 min walk to the main sights. Our room was very comfortable and decorated to a high standard. There is no restaurant or bar in the hotel, but a beautiful breakfast was delivered to our room each morning. We also had a private outside terrace with comfy seating. The two concierges, Antonio and Elena, were very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely recommend it.

We absolutely loved staying at Casa Howard. The rooms were darling and having our wonderful breakfast on the terrace each morning was an absolute treat. The location was right in the middle of the city near everything that we wanted to see and we were easily able to walk to everything. It also helps that it was a 5 minute walk from the train station, and a bonus - directly neighbors with the historic Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella. If we ever find ourselves in Florence we'd love to stay here again.

We had a little trouble turning on the air con, but the staff helped us and it worked well.

The property was a lovely guest house, with beautiful decor and history. The small retro elevator was charming, and luckily I didn’t have too much luggage. Our room was upgraded to a terrace room which was amazing (likely since we only stayed one day in the middle of the week). The breakfast was delivered to our room and it was delicious. The bed was very firm, but I didn’t mind.

Had to eat breakfast in room..no dining room. Very restricted choice. An awful lot of flourish , but lacking in substance in certain areas. No bathrobes no slippers....coffee machine didn't work properly...reported it but still didn't work. Not really value for money felt a little caged. Somewhat disappointing.

Location was brilliant. Very friendly and knowledgable staff. Felt very secure.

If you want an authentic adventure in Florence, this is the place. The rooms are gorgeous and each one is special. The breakfast was amazing and we enjoyed our stay. Very romantic room with an outside Terrace, hence the name of the room "Terrace". Great location to the train station. We were able to walk to and from even with luggage, so didn't have to use a taxi.

First thing you read entering Casa Howard is their sign "we are not a hotel". And they are correct - they are so much more! The design is breathtakingly beautiful, the service is friendly and extremely knowledgable. In-room breakfast is an absolute delight. Really unique and special place that makes a visit to Florence so much more enjoyable.

The location is excellent. It is five minutes walk from the train station and within 15 minutes walk for all attractions. We never have to ride a taxi or Uber in our stay. People are super friendly. They helped us to reserve a wonderful Christmas dinner before we arrived. And their breakfast was delicious. We arrived on Christmas Day and we were concerned that nobody would help us because of the holiday. But they were working as normal and we had a wonderful stay. Highly recommended this place for family vacation.

The concierges were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent for all the major sites. We enjoyed the room service breakfast and the drinks on the terrace!
