How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The perfect accommodation for your stay in Como. Design of the studio is superb, just 2-3 min away from the lake itself. Definitely would stay here again when visit the lake Como.

It was very clean. The location was great, it is 1 min away from the lake. The hosts are nice, welcoming and friendly. I would recommend 100%.

Nothing! Everything was great!
Everything is new, very clean and comfortable The kitchen is well equipped Great view Very close to everything we needed, restaurants and shops , the lake, public transport Very quiet neighborhood (except for the church bells 😁) The host is super nice, offered to come and pick us up when we arrived because it was raining and night and practically saved us We will definitely return!

Room could be brighter, specially at the dining table.
The best place that we have stayed in Italy. Apartment is right in the middle of the shopping streets in Como and very convenient. It is very well furnished and very modern

Clean and comfortable. Room is very spacious. 1 bed and 1 sofa bed. Decent balcony as well. Centrally located. The host was very warm and welcoming. They provided table fans quickly when we requested them.

Meet by someone on time and explained everything. Great location bars and restaurants and supermarket on your doorstep. Very clean and extremely comfortable. Would 100% stay again at casa king.

Very central and hosts were very accommodating! Let us check in early and leave our bags there after check out. Apartment was very clean. Would definitely recommend!

I wish we had coffee machine that is all, but it was not a problem as coffee shop is downstairs.
This apartment is so close to everything and very clean and well equipped. Walk from the train was an easy 10 minutes and the Ferry is 2 minutes walk. Its in between all the main areas and Piazzas and the shops are nearby for anything you need. The host was friendly and kind and we couldn't have asked for a better stay in Como. Thank you we hope to be back again soon. I recommend this to anyone for the price it was amazing!

Fantastic location. Central to everything. A few minutes walk to the lake. Taxi, supermarket, restaurants just metres away. Very comfortable and clean. New appliances and appeared to be very recently furbished. We were very happy with our choice of Casa King.

Nothing, I definitely recommend this apartment
Thank you Nora for the nice accommodation with BEST LOCATION! thanks to the photos on the site it was very easy to find the apartments. We quickly walked from the train station. The location couldn't be better imagined. Downstairs in the house opposite a grocery store Carrefour, there are excellent cafes and bars, a ticket office for ferries and boarding in 2 minutes. very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The kitchen has everything and more for cooking. We had a great time. Despite the central location, it was quiet at night. The house has an elevator, it was very convenient with a small child and a stroller.

Place is superb. Especially for those who as I'm prefer roof tops. View is gorgeous on a square and a piece of Como lake. The apartment itself is clean and very lovely. I enjoyed a lot!
