Gianluca and his staff's hospitality was exceptional. Fresh, made to order breakfast is served in a covered area on the terrace which in itself is an great experience. He gives personal attention to each guest which we really liked. Multiple choices for eggs, coffee, breads, fruits, yogurts etc. There is also a place to sit down on the terrace and enjoy the sun. From the time we landed and the pickup service (arranged by Gianluca) brought us to Casa Martini, it was a seamless enjoyable experience. His restaurant recommendations, help with planning our daily sightseeing trips, and attention to details is what made our trip to Rome amazing.

There wasn’t anything

Everything was excellent. Beds were comfortable, rooms clean, roof top was great to go and have a drink in the evening and morning sun rise. Breakfast omg The best everything you could ask for and better. Host and staff were amazing. If we go back to Rome will definitely stay there again.

Small family run hotel, pretty rooms with comfortable beds. Very friendly host and staff. The host gave us lots of tips and suggetions for our trip, what to see, where to eat etc. Hotel is easy to reach, close to metro Ottaviano and St. Peter's Basilica. We used the offered taxi service from the airport, which was very convenient. Breakfast is good, served in a veranda on the roof, with a nice atmoshere and fresh coffee. Staff prepares eggs - omlette, scrambled etc - fresh for you. Definitely recommend.

Great accommodation and location. The metro right next to it, 10 minutes on foot to the Vatican, is a great starting point to all the sights. Nice room, clean, staff very friendly, owner at all. He helped with tips and recommendations on what to visit in Rome. Very good breakfast.

Fantastic location to see Rome! Very close to metro station, only a short walk to the Vatican. Our room was fairly spacious, very clean and pretty quiet. Gianluca is lovely and very helpful host. The breakfast at the roof terrace was very good and served by very kind and hospitable staff. The extra amenities was a nice surprise. We absolutely loved our stay!

Everything about this hotel was absolutely wonderful. From the location, on a beautiful, tree-lined street which as central to everything and yet not noisy at night, to the rooftop terrace breakfast, to the outstanding service from Gianluca and his team. We stayed 5 nights and none of us (including my 8 year old) wanted to leave. Of all the places I've stayed in Italy and in other countries, this was the best of the best.

Everything was exceptionally and continuously cleaned, including towels replaced daily! The staff is the sweetest ever, and treat you like family! Breakfast on the roof deck was all made to order, and the variety was wonderful!

Perfect stay! The location is close to the Vatican (10min by walk) and 100m from the subway if you don't want to walk. You can quickly reach the city center and the most famous places. The place is really well furnited and decorated and you feel home from the moment you pass the door. Gianluca contributed to this pleasant atmosphere providing us advises on where to eat and on visits. We loved the terrace where was served the breakfast! And the breakfast itself was really good. You could find everything you need! The room also was very pleasant. We had the view on the street but the windows is well isolated so that we could not hear the noise. I would definitely recommend the place to visit Rome!

Casa Martini was absolutely wonderful! From the moment I booked Gianluca was in contact welcoming me etc. After much study on the subject I decided to go with his offer to arrange airport pickup for us, via a transfer service. We thought no way would this work out after being in customs for almost 2 hours; but the driver was waiting for us at arrivals! Two side notes to consider: if you are visiting the country and do not have phone service the free wifi at the airport works great with whatsapp, or booking.com messages. I texted Gianluca really quick to let him know we were in customs and he told the driver to wait for us! Like a miracle! You just don't get that kind of service anywhere. 2nd side note, you need to use this offered service. The transfer with busses, metro taxis etc to get to Vatican city area takes about 30 minutes and truly the nightmare of arrival and then trying to figure out how to get to your accommodation just isn't the way you want to enter Rome. Take the service. For 4 of us it was only 65 euro, less with less people. 100% worth it. When we arrived the driver told us exactly where to go. (4th floor) and there a cute little lift so you may go up in turns if you have alot of luggage) on arrival we were warmly greeted by our magnificent host Gianluca. He gave us a map of the city and wrote many useful notes on places to see, places to eat, helpful hints about the metro (which is about a 2 min walk away on the same rd as Casa Martini, and just outside is one of the artisan spring fountains!) You're about a 5-10 min walk from the Vatican entrance depending on your physical level of course. We walked absolutely everyday everywhere except the Colosseum. For that we took the metro. Easy. About the accommodation. We have the green room, it's really well decorated/designed to comfortably fit 4 without feeling crowded. Super comfortable and spacious. Last time I was in Rome we were packed into a tiny space.

Everything was perfect. Gianluca is wonderful host, he took care of everything during our stay. Room was clean and silent. Location is great - Ottaviano metro station is about 60 seconds to reach. We loved our stay in Casa Martini, definitely will be back. Grazie Gianluca !!!

Our first stay in a guest house (before that we have always stayed in hotels) exceeded our expectations. The staff led by Gianluca was incredible. Room was clean, breakfast was a fiesta of served goodies and willingness to fulfil all "breakfast" desires. We highly recommend this venue and we will definitely be back.

Casa Martini is one the best places we’ve ever stayed, not in just in Rome but the whole Italy. From the moment we’ve entered, it felt like home. Location is very good, 10-15 mins from Vatican by walk. Every single staff was extremely friendly and supportive. We were asking which places we could visit for food and we’ve received tons of recommendations (all of them were absolutely fantastic). Hotel breakfast was delicious, especially cheese omelette with bacon. The hotel owner was always somewhere around and was asking if everything was okay to ensure that all visitors enjoyed their stay. Rooms were super clean, it felt fresh. Beds were comfortable and towels were changed on a daily basis. Room temperature was just perfect- not too cold and not too hot. Definitely recommend everyone to stay here if you decide to visit Rome

The only thing I didn’t like was some weird elevator doors that won’t stop dinging until you close the doors. And honestly it wasn’t a big deal at all.

The property was clean and comfortable with an excellent location. Literally a 5 minute walk to the Vatican and right next to the train station and many delicious restaurants! On the top floor of the building was a beautiful terrace with a scrumptious breakfast.
