It rained at least once a day while we were Casa Rosa…but not their fault!

After coming from the hectic pace of Florence….we welcomed the peace & quiet. The views are amazing, the wine was delicious & we had fun in the kitchen.

A fabulous place! A wonderful holiday surrounded by nature. A few minutes' drive from Assisi and you are in an oasis of peace and quiet. Perfectly equipped, clean and fragrant apartment with a view of the mountains and the valley. Beautifully located swimming pool. Warm and very nice hosts have made this place an extraordinary oasis of true relaxation. There is everything you need to spend time comfortably. They even thought of a book of tips for tourists who want to explore Umbria. Best for lazy relaxation, but also a good base for sightseeing. Take mosquito repellents, turn off your cell phone (the signal is weak anyway) and don't worry about the access road - it only seems difficult at the beginning - it's safe!

Casa Rosa is a wonderful place where we could relax and recharge. The views and the overall atmosphere were beautiful. It was perfect for a group of family and friends. The owner Ella is a charming and caring host. All thumbs up.

Everything was fine, except for two small things: the doorway to the bathroom (in apartment Lorenzetti) is low, so that I bumped my head twice, and for some reason the bathroom light is connected to the electric ventilator. So if one visits the bathroom at night, upon turning on the light, the ventilator kicks in waking up my partner. Minor points.

Tremendously beautiful and remote location in the hills and mountains near Assisi. No noise, just the birds! Incredibly tasteful placement of the various units. Lovely and sizable swimming pool. Friendly owner Ella, who gave us a warm reception upon arrival, and a bottle of white wine. Kitchen is well equipped, with an oven, and all necessary utensils. Wonderful home cooked meals are available in a freezer, as well as a good array of wines from Umbria. We would consider coming back for a longer period.

Absolute paradise, we had an amazing time here and wish we could have stayed for longer - the pictures dont do it justice! Even though you feel as you're in the middle of the forest the apartment is modern and extremely comfortable. Also only 10-15mins drive into Assisi Thank you to everyone!

the road to get there is a bit hilly, but you get used to it, it’s also part of the charm

casa rosa was one the most beautiful places we have been! everything was just wonderful! Ella and Alessandro were the sweetest hosts that comforted us along the stay. thank you for the jam and everything! the place is a beautiful house complex on top of the hill, filled with gardens and terraces to relax. the house was tastefully decorated and very comfortable for a family holiday! there is a pool and a bbq to enjoy in warmer months. the view around was gorgeous! we leave with sadness and can’t wait to come back!

absolutely nothing. this place is just perfect!

we loved absolutely everything about this beautiful home, including its remote but convenient location. This was the highlight of our 3 weeks long vacation in Italy. we rented 2 of the apartments and both were spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and had everything one needs to enjoy their stay. the hosts put a lot of thought and efforts to make sure the guests are comfortable and well taken care of. we fell in love with this beautiful home made even more special by its warm-hearted hostess, Ella. Thank you, Ella, for creating such a beautiful, hospitable space for your guests and sharing your mother’s beautiful art with us. we will be back!

The most perfect, idyllic location we have ever stayed in. We loved the peace and tranquility, the lush surroundings, the apartment itself and the beautiful pool. And the little touches to make us feel welcome (homemade cherry jam, bottle of chilled white wine in the fridge, freshly cut flowers in a vase on the table). The location is fantastic for walking (as long as you don't mind hills).

nothing, it was perfect

What a lovely place! Such a refreshing change from the standard, sterile, self catering accommodation that is all too common. Ella is a warm host, going out of her way to make your stay extra special. The property is an old farmhouse on a hilltop with breathtaking views, a magical garden, and the apartments furnished with bespoke beautiful pieces, mostly painted by Ella’s artist mother. We weren’t able to use the pool due to the time of year but could sit up there and listen to all the birds, or go for a walk down to the waterfall, or drive to one of the villages nearby. So peaceful! Thanks Ella, we will be back for sure!

This Must Be the Place! This was just like the pictures, what you see is what you really get! Would book this again in a heartbeat. Everything's is taken care of in detail. I have not seen this anywhere before. Ella made a book, which you could call a bible and in it you can find really everything. But really... Everything! Different kind of supermarkets for everyones taste, walks that start from your home, weekly markets in the area. The facilities where very good too. Good beds, outstanding rain shower enough closet space, good lighting and I loved the art on the wall! And if you feel lazy you can even take a home cooked meal out of the freezer and pop it in the oven. 11 out of 10!

We once again enjoyed our stay. Casa Rosa is a unique, harmonious place surrounded by nature with a beautiful view of Monte Subasia. Assisi is only a fifteen minute drive away. Ella is a very amiable hostess and the cats are very sweet ánd polite. We would love to come back next year :-)
