Far away from bus stop. Be ready to burn your lunch / dinner hiking up to the hotel from the main roads and bus stops. Old, dated, dingy look, with molding shower and grey linen. I was afraid of catching bed bugs or some other insects. Small shower area. The parking is shared with bus terminal (cannot use those busses).

In my opinion, the whole facility (the room, bedroom/bed and the bathroom/toilet) needs an upgrade to attract more travellers. It's a bit outdated. However, the property seemed old so it may not be cost effective. Its location may be a disadvantage due to its uphill/residential location. However, it provides that quiet feeling of being away from the "touristy" crowd and a better view of the Vatican.

We liked how the Reception team looked after us despite of the error with the online booking. The Female Receptionist went above and beyond. She made sure that my family was accommodated before she headed home. Despite its hidden location, a few minutes walk will take you to the main road with lots of eating options. The buffet breakfast was unexpected. There were a lot of foods and varieties available at the buffet. The view of the Vatican from the top floor was amazing specially during sunset. When we checked out, the female receptionist even organised a taxi for us to take us to the train station.

The hotel and the rooms are old. The WiFi is not very good. Big hotel with a lot of children camps that make it a little bit noisy

Unfortunately, the walls and doors were not sound proof, and the sound of water flowing from the internal pipes of the building could be clearly heard

Lobby could have been cleaner. Had a strange smell also.

The location was good and it was fantastic to have parking. It was hard to find at first, as we missed the sign and there was a very sharp right turn that was extremely difficult. More signage would be helpful. The people at the front desk were very friendly. Our room had a fantastic view. The lobby could have been cleaner, but the room was very good.

While close to train station/Vatican, the location was a little inconvenient in that you can only get at it from one side due to the train tracks. It was just inconvenient. Also the room was mostly clean except the grout in the shower was mouldy

We chose this property due to proximity to the train station & Vatican area, the room was recently renovated/updated and had a decent view with a little balcony. Breakfast was really good as well!

Other reviews were right; the bed was hard as a rock and the rooms were not sound proof at all. You could hear everything happening in the hallway.

It smelled really bad in the room, it probably came from the canalisation. It literally REAKED! also in the hallway. The bathroom ventilation didn’t work or wasn’t even existing.

There no basic room facilities such as mugs, kettle, clothe iron, bins, tissues are not available in the room. For cloth ironing and hot water you have to go all the way back to reception every time. The hot water provided at the bar is not drinkable and it’s bitter.

Staff and location is good. They didn’t hesitate to arrange transportation to anywhere at our request.

The young lady on reception was very helpful. The room had a balcony. It wasn't too far to walk to the Vatican .

I did not like the package breakfast they had prepared for us. It was very poor.

I like the staff, very helpful and kind. A very good position of the hotel with a view of St Peter Basilic Doom. Nice hotel. Recommend it for short stay.

The bathroom needs some updates. Sound insulation - we heard other noisy people during the night.

Basic but very clean room, large terrace with lateral view to St. Peter's Basilica, very close to Vatican, close to shops and restaurants - great location, quiet area. Good wi-fi. Apart from the stairs, you can also reach using another road. Good price-quality ratio. Parrots flying near the terrace, good breakfast-more sweets and great coffee. We will come back!

Grayline tour discount didn’t work and front desk couldn’t fix. C bldg door closed in a bag and wouldn’t reopen. Safety on elevator was poor
