How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

15 minutes walk to the Vatican with a bus stop right outside, the location was perfect for a couples city break. Staff were very friendly with lots of great recommendations on what to do during your stay. Room was extremely comfortable and very clean! Also the breakfast pastries are also to die for!

The bed was like a cloud, so soft and comfortable. The breakfast was a delightful continental breakfast, with juice and coffee. (Very tasty) and the room was well presented and cleaned daily. The staff were extremely helpful and assisted with all bookings for tourist events and provided great advice for local eateries. Overall I loved the opportunity to be well located and enjoyed the stay.

I highly recommend this property! I have only positive things to say. Breakfast was amazing, more than enough, different kind of coffe, tea, pastries. Room is super clean, bed comfortable. Everything you could wish for. Location is also great, just 10min with the bus to pretty much everywhere. ***Stuff is super friendy and fun! Thank you for everyrhing! <3

It was quite hidden away and difficult to initially find.
The property was well kept and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The area felt safe to walk around and the building had two passcodes to enter. The bus stop outside is very convenient.

Bodywash and shampoo served in small plastic bags, bigger packsizes/wall dispenser would be better and more environmental friendly.

Thank you for the warm welcome! Everything was at the highest level, very welcoming guys!) I really liked its modern and neat.Walkable distance to vatican and bus stops.Lots if cafes nearby so it was a good location.We had a early vatican tour slot the hosts gave us coffee and croissant to go as the breakfast time was later.It was a homely experience for us that they took care of us like this.0

We had a great stay at Casa Tua. Personnel was very friendly and welcoming and made our stay even more relaxing. Facility was easy to find, there is a bus station in front of the apartment and metro station about 15min walking distance. Breakfast was very good and delicious. The most important thing for us was that the room was spotlessly clean! We stayed there during New Year's holidays and a very special touch from personnel was a small bottle of prosecco in our room. Thank you for a memorable stay in the Eternal city!

The room was a bit small, but it was fine for two adults. Everything was super clean and the breakfast pastries were delicious! The owners and other workers were all super friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable!

It's funny but all over Europe it was the same. Thin toilet paper. We are just use to the two ply, extra soft. Other than that, we was great for us.
The room was a little small but we were out all day, so it wasn't a problem. It is not a fancy hotel, more a bed and breakfast. But the staff makes you feel like you are a part of the family. Truly try to accommodate. Whatever you need, they work to make it happen. We could walk to the Vatican and some of the other tourist attractions.

It would have been great to have a small fridge in the room for keeping water/drinks chilled. And possibly a better selection of hot drinks and milk etc in the room for tea coffee - but these are minor points which the property could easily upgrade upon receiving constructive feedback. So not detracting from the enjoyment of our stay!
The staff were very communicative through the arrival process and very friendly throughout. The stay felt personal and we genuinely felt looked after by the team at the property. The location is great and the room very clean and attractively decorated. Good air conditioning and big bright window. The breakfast was lovely and was able to be brought to our room by the staff which was a nice touch.
