The flat equipment is older and mismatched, the bathroom ventilation isn't the best and in general the bathroom could use a deep clean. There is no assigned parking.

We overall really enjoyed our stay with Daniele - it was comfortable for a very good price. We liked the location in walking distance to the old town of Catania and most monuments you might want to visit, the flat was spacious and had most things you might need, communication with the owner was great, AC worked well and kept us warm in December with no problem and it was a nice place to stay for a few days as a family of 4. The parking situation was also great - we always parked in the street apartment is located in.

The Gelateria downstairs Zio Pietro is amazing! Also just sitting on the balcony watching life pass by, reading a book. Then go for a stroll in the centre. If you are two families you can all stay at a good price. So many beds!

Nothing - we couldn’t get to grips with the air con so the flat was really hot - but that was our fault not the property owners

Perfect location - clean - comfortable - we asked our contact for a hairdryer - there was one attached to the wall in the bathroom - but three ladies trying to get showered and ready at the same time a separate hairdryer would be handy - our contact Sam came to the flat with her own one! Ten out of ten for customer service. Close to the bus station (for airport) & 5 mins walk to the town centre for bars, restaurants & tourist spots

The AC in the room on top doesn't cool the room as much but the main bedroom had great cooling especially during the heatwave we experienced during our stay.

The location is great and is perfect for breakfast as the neighboring store is an amazing gelateria

Although they didn't bother us there were many ants so as long as you keep on top of your pots and keep food in the fridge you won't have a problem with them. The upstairs room could get very hot as there was no air con so maybe another unit or a fan could be a good addition.

Dani was a very friendly host he gave us info about local events and the best things to do in the area. The beds were comfy and the air con was effective which was nice to get back to after a long day of exploring the beautiful city.

Very chatty and helpful host and lady who greeted us on our early arrival. Clean bedding and comfy beds. Great location in the heart of Catania - central train station & main bus stations all within 20mins walk and City's main attractions also very close. Recommend for anyone who'd like to have a look around this part of Sicily. Grazie

Great location for seeing the centre of Catania by foot. Was easy to find the apartment (quick tip; when retrieving the key, the key box is *outside* the building, on the pavement. We missed it at first glance as it's partially obscured by someone else's larger box). There was a restaurant opposite ('Steak House' was in the name) that served enormous pizzas (three shared pizzas completely filled a family of 5!) and best value and delicious ice cream was available in the ice-cream parlour just below the apartment. The shower water pressure was strong.

The electricity is a bit weak and a fuse can be blown if you turn on the cooker and the kettle at the same time.

Do not leave anything sweet opened properly - otherwise the ants will come. There aren't many of them and they don't bite, but they are here. The electricity is also a bit weak and a fuse can be blown - do not turn on the cooker and the kettle at one time!

The location is ideal for the city of Catania - both the beaches, the restaurants and the historical sites are within 10 minutes walk! The rooms are spacious, and the kitchen is provided with enough cutlery and utensils.

It was very clean and exactly like in the photos - this is relatively big apartment for Italy and there was light in the apartment, which is important. Our communication with the host was great, the location was perfect!

There was no photo of the bathroom.... this is no accident!!!! Kitchen equipment is very incomplete. Cleaning was lacking. The lights didn't work. There was air conditioning, but you couldn't turn it on, it was cold.

The city center was very close.

even though all Catania’ buildings are old, the building was very old and decrepit. the door to the main building has no lock and once closed it was stuck and almost impossible to open. no sign to indicate not to close it. the stairs to the first floor smell bad. overall the apartment wasn’t bad as the building but not as expected.

the apartment is in a central position. main points of interest in Catania are within walking distance.

It was easy to check-in and out! The host was super friendly as well! The apartment was fully furnished & it was really close to many piazzas!

Desperate need of cleaning, especially the bathroom. The kitchen was full of ants and they ate everything we left our of the fridge. Missing hand soap - especially during those Corona times not understandable. The stairs and building entrance smells of cat pee.
