The room was exceptional…really unique in perfect location, combined perfect the Sassi architecture and the lighting made the difference! Sabrina waited for us although we arrived later than we expected.

The location was fabulous, right in the heart of Sassi-di-Matera, with nice eateries around. The room itself is very nice, beautiful, cost - perfect for a couple. The host was really prompt in communication, she generously left all the essential things like coffee, tea, water bottles, snacks etc.

Very nice Cave-Apartment with super flair exactly like on the pictures - everything is very clean - Sabrina, the owner is very attentive, asked twice if we need something - the appartment is also perfectly located with nice "Ristaurantes" next to it, the "center" is 8min away (stairs up) 10points

The room was absolutely beautiful, looks even better in person. Very clean and the location is perfect. Our host was awesome, she is extremely professional and available at any time. This was my best accommodation during our stay in Italy. I would definitely book again

The convenience of not having to go up and down a bunch of stairs with luggage but still right in the heart of the action and the Sassi. The place is gorgeous and when you step outside, you have the wonderful views and all the restaurants and little shops within a very short walk.

It is a striking cave room experience. As soon as we were welcomed inside the dreamy cave room, we felt a sensation of contentment and astonishment. The decoration of the room showed ample care as well as an aesthetic selection of furniture. Cleanliness, comfort and hospitality were shown by the intricate details of the room from head to toe. Besides, the hotel is situated in a perfect location, allowing us to have easy access to different picturesque spots. Highly recommended.

One of the most beautiful rooms I've ever stayed in. Everything is decorated beautifully and practically - the air con is good and the shower has good pressure. Breakfast and coffee amenities included. It felt like a haven in the middle of this amazing city

Sabrina our host was brilliant, she arranged a taxi and met us at the property - her English was great despite her not thinking so. The location of this property is well positioned for sightseeing. The property had everything we needed and more. It was quite unique being positioned in ‘The Rock’. It was also very quiet at night.

For those unfamiliar with restricted driving zones in Italy, finding overnight parking in proximity to the property was very challenging. This is not a fault of the property per se but future renters should be aware. And leave additional time to figure parking out.

I loved this property. It is a very special property with very appealing decor and special touches made by the owners. I considered it an oasis. The location in Matera could not have been better.

Great location in the heart of the Sasso Caveoso area. The room was very stylishly finished with all mod cons but still had a very cave-like feel dressed in natural stone. Close to the bus shuttle into the city Would definitely recommend.

couldn’t get in the wifi and the host helped me but they took my phone off airplane mode. I realized right away but it still registered with Fido phone service so I was charged 15.00 Canadian for less than a minute of no usage.
