Casa Vacanza Cozy House Apartments was a great choice for our stay in Matera. The apartment itself was - clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. It had everything we needed for our stay. The owner generously stocked the apartment with essentials like coffee, milk, olive oil, and even spices! A very thoughtful touch. Lorenzo was incredibly helpful and friendly. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. Upon arrival, he gave us insightful details about the city, including hidden gems and must-see sights. He recommended some fantastic restaurants, and those that we sampled, turned out to be delicious! The location was also ideal. The apartment was just a 10-minute walk from the city center, making it easy for all that Matera has to offer. We had a wonderful stay. We would highly recommend this place to those visiting the city.

One of our best times in Italy. The room was very clean, it had everything we needed and the owner was very kind and helpful. He gave us valuable information about what to see, where to eat and practical information about shopping. There is a small supermarket around the corner, a bakery with delicious bread and sweets, a salumeria, all in the same block. The room was close to the bus stop for Bari and just 10 minutes walk from the center of Matera. Great value for money and a wonderful host.

Very comfortable and equipped apartment. Located 10 minutes away from the Sassi. The are many mini markets, bakeries etc in the street. Lorenzo was very welcoming and helpful. Would very much like to come back!

Everything was great , awesome location not far from the city centre, a 5 min walk. You have everything you need in close proximity, the flat is very modern and of a very high standard. Great host who gave us amazing tips on what to eat, best restaurants to enjoy and which places to visit To be honest this is the best stay in Matera.

Excellent location, exceptionally clean and comfortable apartment. Lorenzo’s comprehensive suggestions were fantastic (we loved his binder of many helpful tips!) It’s great meeting and staying with someone who is so passionate and proud of their city - with good reason.

Lorenzo is a very friendly and attentive host, he helped us a lot in exploring the city. He allowed us to leave our suitcases in the hallway for hours after check-out. Sara is also helpful. The apartment is located in a quiet location and is well equipped.

Wonderful apartment with great location, just a few walk minutes to the center, very clean and modern, we didn't cook but the kitchen has everything that you could need. But the best of this apartment was our host Lorenzo! He give us so helpful supporting information about Matera, so we could use our time in Matera very efficient. He was always responding very fast to all of our questions. We fell in love in Matera and we will always carry a piece of Matera in our hearts! It was an amazing stay in Matera! Lorenzo is extremely kind, friendly and helpful person with a great knowledge of the city and its history. The apartament is in a perfect location, really close to the historic centre of Matera and the railway station. The apartament was tidy, spacious, bright, cozy, very well-equipped with a large and comfortable bed. Fantastic place in every way. The atmosphere in Matera is incredible, both during the day and in the evening. The city and its history is stunning and touches the heart at the first sight. Matera cannot be compared with any other city. We hope we will come back. Our stay will be definately unforgettable! Highly recommend :)
