Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesWe had arranged to drop our bags early and were supposed to be met by someone to let us in. We ended up waiting for multiple hours impacting our plans for our short stay in the location. they have a property manager and it appears there can be communication issues with this person. Once we eventually got our keys we had no further issues.
Cool location, very spacious apartment. Liked the balcony which was huge - the door to it was tricky to open but the owner who let us in showed us that before they left. the rooms were very comfortable and the apartment had everything we needed. loved the location - very safe. they had an old lift in the building that fits 2 people at most - the building is actually very pretty and this is a nice original feature. It was not a problem for us - we used the stairs as well as the lift since we are a family of 4 adults. you need to have some coins to operate the lift during business hours - they have a sign to explain that.

IrelandThe shower head in the big bathroom has a big cut in the shower hose causing it to be unusable! The shower water also seeps out into the living room from the smaller bathroom. Had to use multiple towels to keep the water from damaging the wooden floor.
The location was absolutely perfect for us. Right in the heart of Napoli close to the shops, sea, ferry, metro and bus routes. The apartment was huge and the beds were very comfortable. The heating kept the apartment nice and warm while it was cold outside during the nights. The host was very nice and accommodating, she let us keep our bags in the apartment for an extra hour.

Excellent location - on top of the Gallerie Umberto, easily reachable by Metro Great communication - Alessandro was very friendly and helpful. He fixed an early check in for us and also offered the possibility to stow away our luggage after check out The apartment was roomy and clean, the kitchen well stocked. Loved the roof-top lounge area.

BulgariaVery very dirty!!!!! Everything was so neglected and very nasty. There was garbage from previous customers in the garbage bin and on the floor very much dirt. The elevator it’s working only with 0,20€ and if you don’t have it’s hard way up or down especially with suitcases. If there was shared commend like this I will never book that property.
The location is good and they wait for our arrival around 10pm.

IrelandThe apartment complex hallways and elevator gets very hot and humid as there’s no air conditioning but it’s not a huge deal as you’re only passing through quickly enough. There’s not a whole lot that the hosts can do about that though so really everything was perfect.
Everything was great. The location of the apartment is right in the heart of Naples. The apartment is very spacious, bright and clean. There’s air conditioning in every bedroom but not in the other rooms (bathrooms, living area, kitchen), so when we left the apartment every day, we left the air conditioning on in each bedroom with the doors open to cool the other rooms down, otherwise those rooms get very hot. The terrace is also much bigger than the photos suggest, which was a bonus! We loved our stay here and the hosts were very accommodating and nice. Would definitely stay again.

IsraelThe apartment is situated on the fifth floor, and most of the time the elevator costs 20 cents per ride. It wasn't stated anywhere when we made the reservation. Georgia, that was our contact to the landlord, said that it only needs to be paid for between 9am to 1pm, but we went downstairs at 08:30 and it demanded pay, and we came back at 6pm and it demanded pay. There are two bathrooms with a shower and a toilet at the apartment. In the big bathroom, flushing the toilet makes a very loud noise (from the pipes in the wall), and the water in the shower will not drain, so after one day we couldn't shower there anymore. Also, the sink is in a pretty bad shape. In the small one, the shower is really tiny - but we had to use it as the big one didn't drain - and the the toilet's lead was broken and the toilet bowl was leaking, so that every time we flushed the floor got flooded. It also had a strong moldy scent. So we had to stop using the toilet there. We were a party of six and were left only two toillet paper rolls. Georgia kindly dropped by to get us more. The porch is lovely but pretty neglected and un maintained. No option for laggage keep if you leave the city later than the check out time. They demand a cash deposit of 300E, pretty annoying for us as it meant that we have to go back with plenty of cash euoros.
The location was great, very central yet quiet. The apartmanet itself has a lot of potential to be a great place for a family vacation.
