The parking is on the street so you are not guaranteed a park if someone else has parked before you, so we recommend parking your car there on arrival and walking down the hill to catch the ferry to get around and such. While the parking is free, it could be difficult to actually secure the parking spot in high season/summer. The water pressure in the bathroom is also a little weak, but we all survived and there was always hot water available.

The location was fabulous and the house was quaint with plenty of Italian charm. We had a great view from the windows of the hillside and it was quiet and peaceful being a little up from the lake. The host was lovely and prompt to respond, and left us a contact with their housekeeper for fast communication via WhatsApp, and were also kind enough to leave us a bottle of Prosecco upon arrival. The furniture is very comfortable despite being old, and is very charming. We were very comfortable for our stay.

The furniture and carpets are very old and smells old a bit. If the old furniture will be replaced with a new basic one, they value will increase significantly.

The location is in a walking distance to the lake and villa Carlotta ( a bit steep on the way back).

Plan ahead for supermarket opening hours - its a bit of a walk when the one at the bottom of the hill is closed.

To be honest - the beds were antiques & were uncomfortable & very creaky.

The views & the antiquity of its architecture. fresh basil growing in the kitchen window box was lovely.

As we were travelling in April it was a bit chill inside. One minor thing, the mokka pot for coffee was dirty and a bit old (probably previous guests left it that way). There is a coffee machine though in addition.

Very friendly communication, location, a lot of space. There is great park on the coast of the lake and a nice villa nearby. Kitchen was fully equipped.

One minor issue is that we perhaps missed a few large mugs for tea and coffee - but we’re not Italian so that is a personal choice. Also, to acknowledge other peoples comments that the beds were noisy, but they were not at all uncomfortable.

We had a great amount of space for a family of 6, the location was nice and quiet, we appreciated the parking space that was close, but perhaps we were lucky! ;-). The fresh herbs on the window sill were a fantastic touch for me as a chef and the bed linen was top quality!

We returned to Casa Victoria for our family holiday in Lake Como. A cosy traditional house in beautiful Tremezzo. It has everything a family needs and a nice walking distance from the restaurants & coffee places by the lake

We were surprised by the age of the furnishings. There was a mop and bucket left on stairs and a teabag and spoon in the sink. Not particularly clean. Red bed linen had bleach marks on pillowcase.

The one thing that was not good, the fact that the vacation ended and we had to leave this wonderful place in Tremezzo because its one of most beautiful places I’ve seen in Italy.

Perfect for families with children. Better reachable when you are traveling by car, but be sure that you are following parking hosts instructions when arriving by car Harvey will very helpful and send us all the necessary instruction and information to us by phon, Hosts are wonderful people! Feel like at home! They were extremely helpful in any questions need during our stay. The location is excellent. Great villa, large spacious clean, fully equipped kitchen. Stunning views in a quiet and peaceful environment, an absolute calm atmosphere for a great vacation.
